Hi Guys
Just introducing myself yes as madmaria because i am totally nutts but I think that is what keeps me sane if that makes any sense at all. I am from the uk where all usefull drugs are banned and the government want to watch your every move on cctv. we are banned from smoking in most places and recently our local park and they are trying to get it banned in your own vehicle its getting silly here just like our government. ok winge over!
I have suffered with non treatable depression since i was a child and no one can give me anything that works. so i found by accident that speed helps me a great deal and i can function and have been self medicating for about 12 years but i can no longer afford it and i am trying to get my doctor to prescribe adderall and could do with knowing if any of you guys know if anyone on here from the uk has had a prescription made from a uk doctor for adderall and if any of you guys take it i would like to know if it is any good at lifting the fog.You will know what i mean by that I guess?

I took Adderall for depression for many years. It's fantastic for that, in my opinion, but others here will disagree. Here's a thread about that:

I think that if the depression is coupled with psychotic features, amphetamine can be very dangerous. Nevertheless, it never really exacerbated my psychoses, other than occasionally making me engage in mayhem as a result of a mild and fleeting delusion that I was destined to become a supervillain.

Welcome to Bluelight Maria. I know exactly what you mean.I was treated with 30 mg. of adderall a day. It helps me with my depression and adult ADD. I think the reason there is so much controversy about adderall for treating depression is because it can go both ways. It will either help you kick the depression and get going with your life or it can make you very nervous and make the opposite effect on your depression.
