Ma Huang (Ephedra Sinica) seed tea?

Just a real quick question regarding ephedra seeds.
The past year I have become interested in plants and herbs with psychoactive properties.
do the seeds contain a significant amount of active alkaloids to receive positive effects, say if made into a tea?
I am currently in possession of quite a large quantity of seeds and am very curious to try them.
Also, what would be a proper way to prepare these?
Any info would be helpful.

I think its usually made with leaves, but idk for sure.

Dunno about the seeds, but ma huang tea (made with the twigs) is very tasty and gives a great energetic, focused, warm and natural experience. Wouldn't call it a high, but certainly has beneficial effects that could come in handy for studying, working, dancing, etc..
