i got an m30 morphine and my friend told me if i wanna shoot it to put it on a spoon, add salt, heat, mix and then draw and shoot, is that the proper way to do these? or am i harming myself? they say [M] on one side and 30 on the other they are purple they are morphine. please any help would be apreciated

We don't allow pill identification as this is easily handled by automatic search engines such as on drugs.com or rxlist.com. If the pill you have is an IR (instant release) you want to dissolve it in cold water and filter it through a micron filter. If it is an ER/SR (extended release/sustained release) you may need further preprocessing.
It is very unsafe to shoot pills without filtering (at the very least cotton but preferably micron), and adding salt and heating it are both bad ideas unless you know exactly what you are doing.

im not asking for an id i know that they are morphine sulfate sr i was just stating what kind they were and asking if anyone knew how to prep em for iv, and if the salt method was correct cuz im my other thread everyone told me that the salt was wrong.
I know the pills you are describing. I have IV'd them before.
I can't recommend IVing them because shooting any pill is inherently unsafe. If you must, I did the following, taken from Heroin Helper, with the added step of Micron Filtering:
1 Scrape off the coating
2 Place uncrushed pill in spoon/cooker.
3 Add 1 & 1/2 mL of water
4 Being heating.
5 When the sides of the pill begin to melt, stop heating and crush pill. It should crush up very easily.
6 If you continue heating, you will notice a large amount of wax rises to the surface. You can scrape this off to the side using the back end of the rig.
7 Now, I will draw up into an extra syringe (3 mL) with a detachable needle. I then micron filter the solution at least twice.
8 I then draw the solution up into the rig (cotton filtered), tie off and bang.
Only did it a few times and again, I must advise against banging pills because of the dangers involved.
But if you're going to do it, please don't use salt.

Whats wrong with idenitfying. Isnt there a great amount of harm reduction and increase in a safe time if one needs to idenitfying a pill?

I don’t think we want the board clogged up with pill identification threads when the info is easily available with Google searches and other resources. There are even whole boards like this one dedicated to pill identification.
To the OP you can IV these with the method or at least something similar to the one posted above however the resulting liquid is somewhat viscose (spelling on that word?? Is it even a word?? Viscosity….) and I would not put that in my body. The micron filter may help remove whatever makes the liquid oily but I would still stay clear.
I have had much better luck with the other generic that does not have a coating. Produces a much cleaner liquid with no texture.

Pill ID's are outside of the scope of Other Drugs. Fortunately, the (rest of the) internet has plenty of information to help you out.
s1-Ik got the same pills........ got them today hoping to smash them but they are some wierd green color.... He know they are extended/controlled release whatever but said there is no coating... or its the same color and texture atleast... he spent much on 2 and doesnt want to waste them... i have told him smashing pills isnt safe but as you know...curiousity helped the cat learn more about the world around him and he would like to know about this..... for a first timer on the process is it easy to mess up?....and i agree about the id go to google and put in the numbers/ letters and it should tell you what it is before you press enter...
