Harm Reduction lyrica+memantine long term usage safe?

Hey, I wanted to ask if there are any potential problems/health risks from using lyrica and memantine daily for depression/neuropathic pain? I am prescribed 900mg lyrica daily but my doctor refuses to let me try memantine for some reason so I just went around his back and ordered it on the internet instead. I am so sick of being in pain and depressed and before I get back on heroin because I can't take anymore I thought I'd try this combination. An NMDAR blocker+lyrica should put a serious dent in the neuropathic pain and the effects of any NMDAR blocker is enough to instantly relieve me of depression as I know from past ketamine/pcp abuse.

So I wanted to ask about the potential dangers of this combo since I will probably use it for monhts/years to come if it works out. Are there any immediate/long term health risks?

edit: I could also use some info on dosing the memantine.

I was just about to ask this question as I need something to boost the lyrica, without increasing the dose.
Do you have Fibromyalgia? Because there is a paper that I read, which proposes using the two, but not sure about doses.

Yes I read this too. That, and it being an NMDAR antagonist is what peaked my interest in the first place. I do not have fibromyalgia. I suffer from central neuropathic pain / allodynia. From what I have read on fibromyalgia the conditions are not much different. We both suffer endless pains everywhere all day long. (actually I do not only suffer pain, it alternates between numbness/severe burning/itching/allodynia).

I bet my order will arrive next year unfortunately, so I will have to wait untill then before I can give any reviews.
