have used this site for quite awhile now; finally decided to go ahead a join b/c ... well ... i've been about as high and low as you can get, and want to help people with similar situations as mine. b.s. in psy, so i know all about the addiction cycle (yeah, i know .. i knew better) from textbooks to first-hand experience.

as much as i want to help others, there are undoubtedly times that i need help too ... sometimes it just helps to know that you're not alone out there, and this seems to be the place to visit when i need to talk to someone that 'gets it,' as most of my friends don't (and i couldn't be happier for them)...

so yeah ... hello
