i just took 10mg of it with no tolerance. what can i expect? anyone have any experience. ive took like 40mg of ambien before and didnt find it that great.

After about 1 hour: I feel relaxed and calm. Almost as if in a benzo nice dreamy state. Im a very big benzo abuser vals/xan. So these seem like a nice treat.

I have read reports of pople seeing hallicinocgens... Maybe they will come.. i just turned out the lights and did 5mg more = 15mg total

Ill report more as stuff starts to happen (hoping) right now id say i feel effects of a xanax or a valium.

been 2 hours stince i start. just drank 2 beers. steel not feeling any hallicinocgens properties.. Must have to take a higher dosage. Perhaps some other time, if anyone has any stories of higher doses to share, please do.

This really shouldn't be in psychedelic drugs... even if you catch a hallucination, your sleeping medicine is still not psychedelic.

Well I've taken 70mg Ambien before and wasn't impressed at all by what some people consider a "trip". Felt like a waking dream with some visual distortion to me.

ANYWAY... what I'm wondering is how you rate Lunesta vs. Ambien for normal sleep doses. I'm an insomniac and 10mg Ambien works great for me, although I've never had a chance to build a tolerance to it.

So... for sleep... Lunesta vs. Ambien?

Dose for dose, eszopiclone is more potent then zolpidem and has a longer half life (6 hours versus 2.6). Also in a study, subjects taking eszopiclone nightly for 6 months didn't build any tolerance (source). So (bearing in mind that my personal experience of the "z" drugs is limited to zopiclone) I would imagine for sleep that Lunesta is superior.
