Blackhole for a soul. Shattered dreams engulfed by muted screams. Life's desires set on fire. Happy, jolly? what sheer folly.

Day morphed into endless night. Where's that light, always out of sight. Twisting brain, excruciating pain. Controlling the ride leaves nowhere to hide.

A parallel universe, just for me. One pill to purgatory. Hibernation temporary salvation. What kind of life is this for your wife.

The fog is dense, the mist won't rise, do you see the pain in my eyes? To bid farewell, cruel or kind. Time will tell if I will escape this hell.

OP, do you want to talk about what you wrote about or would you rather leave it as a piece of writing that stands on its own?
