Finally got round to trying this relative of LSD. I was quite curious how this would compare to its cousins...
I suppose everyone who has this has it from the same source more or less, the blotter being with molecule on one side and LSZ printed on the back.
Im quite experienced with psychedelics, but no tolerance now (last trip over 6 weeks ago).
Going in, id say that the experience wasnt very well planned, and probably the dose was dropped a bit late in the evening. I had slept in almost till midday Friday because i was very tired, but woke up feeling refreshed and after plans for a night out with friends fell through, i decided to indulge in this novelty. Expectations were mixed, with review ranging from awesome to malign...
T-0: Dose dropped at about 23, chewed a bit then swallowed on an empty stomach more or less...
T-0:40: first effects begin to appear, for me it was a sense of light headedness, and slightly feeling a bit off, but not in a bad way
T-1:30: for the last hour or so effects seem to increase slowly, but its hard to put your finger on what exactly is going on... as in, its not like other substances where there is a comeup that you feel pushes you forward in the trip.. its a gradual smooth process of blurring the lines between the mundane and the psychedelic.
T-3: this i would say is the peak moment, followed by a plateau phase of about 3 hours
The most enjoyable part of the trip... Indeed, this substance is not too visual, in fact theres quite little there in terms of both CEVs and OEVs. However, i dont feel disappointed, but a bit relieved. I had some low dose LSD trips where the visual aspects would come between my enjoyment of the trip because for instance it would make the faces of people around seem distorted, like walking through an all day mid town carnival. There is instead the joy of being, the happiness of feeling alive, of being able to laugh, to read, to smile...
Feeling more or less like a low to medium dose of LSD, a museum dose for some perhaps. I could easily see myself being in public on this. There is no anxiety and conversations online flow smoothly. Reading bluelight threads is fun and doesnt seem to distract me from listening to music at the same time.
Speaking of which, LSZ seemed to provide me with better music appreciation than ALLAD, but less so than LSD. It gives depth and increases perception of sounds, but doesnt have that awe and wow factor of LSD. Its also not as absorbing as it, but that might be a good thing, as it allowed me to explore genres of music i might not have had the courage to listen to while tripping (hard rock being one
, but also sad unhappy scary even electronica)
There is also increased mood lift. And increased sexual appetite. My oh my, did I feel horny. In the absence of a partner, resorted to the interwebs, but overall very pleasurable and in no way affecting the nether regions. I cant wait to try this with a partner... had some of my longest orgasms since 4-aco-mipt... and that shit was some time ago...
The one thing that felt was missing was a sense of direction to the trip. It did not push me to be introverted nor extroverted, it did not "show me/ make me" see anything i wasnt already thinking of, not opening new areas of exploration. Perhaps the dose was too low, or my mind just needed time to relax and unwind... who knows.
This is also probably the least side effects free trip I have ever had, or at least in a while. Beside a little bloating, nothing. No jaw issues, no stomach discomfort, if anything, food tastes great, drinking fizzy drinks is awesome and i can smell perfume a room away...
t-7:00 Gradually feeling it subsiding, and the overall feeling of returning to normality... Perhaps the least pleasant part of the trip, felt like returning home after a beautiful day out, and finding out you have work to go to in the morning
The comedown is slow and more or less I was baseline and sleeping 8-9 hours after dosing.
Day after, I feel fine refreshed even only after a few hours of sleep.
Summary:
Pro:
- positive trip, mood lift
- managable duration
- would shine around other people, or in a rave/ festival type setting
- sexual enhancer
- good music appreciation
- good appreciation of taste/smell
- not too visual
- probably the least side effects of any psychedelic i took
Con:
- not too visual
- a bit lacking in depth and push
- long comeup and comedown for relative short plateau (might be a benefit)
- doubt doubling the dose will get more visual...
Overall Im very impressed. I would definetly do this one again, probably outside, using it during a hike or chilling with close friends. And as an aphrodisiac. most definetly.
