I have used cannabis on every LSD trip, either after the comeup or after the peak has faded away. It has the benefit of being a catalyst on low dose LSD trips too subtle to really feel on their own (0.5 tab), but also has the ability to "dirty" up and add a lot of confusion to major psychedelic experiences.
Please post your opinions, reasons, or a list of pros & cons.
In my experience:
LSD with Cannabis
Pros:
-Adds a familiar feeling to the trip if you are accustomed to the weed high
-Heavily adds to psychedelic euphoria
-Relieves back & neck joint/muscle pain due to the LSD's vasonconstriction
-Eases the mental "withdrawals" of cannabis if you are a heavy stoner and can't go a day without smoking
-Adds creativity and makes introspective thoughts even more intense
Cons:
-Makes you not remember all of the trip, as cannabis disrupts new memory formations to an extent
-Smoked cannabis has a heavy "crash" 2.5 hours after smoking if you are mentally/neuronally dependent, and "burned out" crash is magnified by the LSD, and can only be soothed with more weed or by eating edibles instead of smoking
-Ruins the purity of the LSD trip, so I usually save for 6-8 hours after dosing, in my experience
-Removes a lot of the predictability of the LSD trip; an intense 3+ hit trip that you were having a blast on can turn weird after your reality is shattered from adding weed on top of it
-Disrupts a lot of the clear, useful, productive thought patterns you get from LSD, instead making your thoughts a bit more circular and confusing
-Makes the trip more recreational, which is bad if you are trying to gain insight through personal introspection rather than just feeling good and having fun
