I just found a cool thing that may make LSD even better. It's an herb called Kudzu. What brought me to that was a search for natural 5-HT2c antagonists, and this was what came up. See the thing about LSD and related compounds like LSZ is that they have rather strong 5-HT2c receptor agonist effects in addition to the psychedelic 5-HT2a effects. I researched what 5-HT2c effects are and they're all bad, depression, anxiety, antagonism of dopamine and norepinephrine release, nausea etc. So that explains why LSZ wasn't euphoric to me, it has stronger 5-HT2c than 2b agonism.
In fact this
page has several posts from people who have used Kudzu alone and got euphoric effects. So I'm thinking that Kudzu tablets really are a required thing to take whenever tripping on psychs that have significant 5-HT2c agonism, like the lysergines (LSD, AL-LAD, LSZ). I'm going to try to get some and then try it tomorrow with some LSZ. Maybe it will cut the nausea AND make it stimulating and euphoric at the same time with its dopamine and NE effects. Lysergines are too general in their 5-HT agonism and need to be fine tuned with the proper antagonists to make it right.
Addendum: The only convenient health food store is sold out of Kudzu so I'll have to postpone the experiment until next week or whenever they restock. Maybe somebody else here could try it in the meantime though and report back.
