LSD - semi experienced.. the most earth shattering experience of my life

Oh yah, hmmm.... sounds interesting. I took a whole shit load of acid one time and realised that there was nothing to realise. That existance is really non-existance and that there was no point in anything because all that time brings in blackness. Thats when I realised that acid sucks.

I've never seen letters on LSD (or taken a dose that high), but I'm fascinated by this. Seeing characters that look like some hieroglyphic/mathematical combination is frequently reported by high-dose acid trippers. So many questions...
ive seen letters on a fairly low level of acid .. a green painted door had grafitti like letters all over it not spelling anything out though ..

thanks for the report endlesseulogy .. i guess in a way youve inspired me as before i only looked on hallucinogenics to see nice patterns and such but from now i shall try to find something for it to lead me into .. something akin to spirtuality for you i presume :)

'... got closer and closer to the 'water' and i saw more and more letters ...'

I'm reading a book called The Heart of the Qur'an by Lex Hixon. This is a great book that I highly recommend, it is about mystical Islam.

In the first chapter Hixon describes receiving the following vision:

'Gazing into the great domed space, radiant and peaceful, surrounded by this living revelation in pure sound, I was granted the vision of a translucent emerald mosque, above even the highest heaven. There were no human figures visible, only a vast Qur'an whose letters radiated light and whose pages turned gracefully as it spontaneously chanted itself. Later, the Sheikh confirmed to me that this had been an authentic mystical experience, not simply the product of creative imagination.'

Anyhow thank you for posting this inspiring report. This is a great example of what psychedelics can do for a person with an open heart. And like you I really am baffled by the hostility shown toward hallucinogens. I also feel that typical means for treating 'depression' don't speak to the whole person. These aren't enlightened times.

Keep reading the Buddhism and practicing Buddhist meditation.
Prayer is like a stained glass window that reveals the majestic potential of light.

on my last trip i had a thing with 'words'....
words seemed like a fundamental building block and part of the simple balancing mechanism of the universe....every word was linked to other words in the same way you feel linked with the world on lsd.

I also almost exploded trying to understand the true deep meaning of some phrases like....

Where are you going?
What are you doing?
What is the time?
We are here.

I would break down such simple phrases and realise the significance of each word........ "we are here"

we-
all of us... all conciousness...the infinite...linked with words like..I, you, me, all

are-
existance, the moment of now, the ability to be... linked with words like... is, was, being

here-
The physical space of what it it means to be "now".... linked with words like... place, time, space, tommorow, yeterday.

I would analyse everything that went through my head and see letters in my mind and an infinite fractal architecture linking letters with words, and words with meaning, and meaning with reality, and reality with perception. It was quite mindblowing.,

Excellent report. Its amazing how enjoyable you can make the experince if you allow your mind to free itself. Personally I couldnt handle Acid very well, too paranoid, but I always wanted to experience what you just did.
