My girlfriend "C" and I decided to spice up a boring Friday afternoon by taking a low dose of LSD, piracetam, and then go to the local art museum. My best friend "S," and her friends "T" and "A" decided to join us in the adventure. I'm the only one who's ever tripped with piracetam before, this would be the first for the others who are all experienced with LSD.
1:30pm: Everyone doses at my house: 800mg piracetam with one drop of acid. T and E eat two hits.
2:00pm: Feeling the buzz, we're all getting a bit giggly. I notice the normal sort of disoriented feeling when I stand. A beer helps relieve my normal come-up anxiety.
2:30: We're all loving the music. A visualizer on the computer has us in awe when we look at it. Everyone is in tears laughing and we pull out some kaleidoscope apps to play with on our iPhones. I notice the walls are breathing and light fractal patterns are emerging on the ceiling when I let my eyes go a little lazy. We all love lucy so much!
2:45: The visuals intensify and we begin to notice that the peak is a little steeper than normal. Not a bad thing, we just feel like we're coming up like a rocket ship!! OEVs are beautiful on my ceiling. S enjoys his CEVs. I grab a box of whippits and lay back on the couch. Nitrous sends me reeling into space, fractals and audio hallucinations become one with each other. I can't decipher between sound and light and I love it. This is really good headspace. T is energetic and running around my living and her laughter is contagious.
3:00: C and T are ready to go to the art museum but our ride isn't home yet. They go outside and we can hear them laughing to tears about what they're seeing. A, S, and I are completely mellowed on the couch, vibing out to music and watching this amazing Winamp visualizer on my comptuter called "Milkdrop2." We're really close to the top of the peak now, it seems like it's been a faster, steeper come-up than normal.
3:10: C and T grab me to come outside and look at the trees. They're holding their stomachs from laughter. T says that the trees look like they're spinning and C says that the trees are expanding and contracting. They can't agree and this makes them laugh harder. I see more breathing OEVs and I attribute T's difference to her having eaten 2 hits.
3:30: We're all back on the couch, having fun conversations and listening to music when our ride arrives. We scatter around the house, getting ready to leave for the museum. As expected, it's really difficult to coordinate 5 trippers to leave to go somewhere. Being in the car has always been relatively sobering for me. T and A are on two doses and they're still at a high peak.
3:45: I ask A how he's doing, he seems to be enjoying himself but he isn't acting like he's tripping that hard. He says "Oh my face is melting right now, this feels like way more than two hits of acid." I state that piracetam makes me feel more clear headed, and he readily agrees. C, S, and T also say that they feel like piracetam has left them clearer headed and in a better headspace than a trip without it.
4:00: Arrive at the museum. We buy our passes and go into the first room. We don't really know where everything is so we remain in the first room and look at the exhibit. I think we're all a little weirded out by the curator at first. Paint strokes look wonderful, they move around and give a three dimensional appearance. We walk upstairs to the classical art.
4:10: We find that paintings that have people or religious tones to them are less attractive than landscapes or paintings of flowers. We move on and skip the Native American art. C and T sit down and are loving a certain painting. It's colorful and the colors bleed together, moving around and dripping thanks to the OEVs. We all readily decide that art museums are not nearly as fun sober and that we must come back on a trip again.
4:30: I find that I'm sort of in a lull in the trip, it seems to have faded away. I feel an afterglow sort of effect but my OEVs have diminished. They come back for certain paintings, disappear for others. Relaxing my eyes once again brings back fractals but I don't feel like I'm in tripping headspace anymore. Everyone else is tripping still. Also, I have stomach pains so I eat a couple Gas-X strips, which relieve the cramps within about 30 minutes. (In the past, I've tried several things to relieve stomach cramps, such as ginger root, tums, and vicodin. Gas-X completely gets rid of the pain for about an hour or two).
5:00: We FINALLY find the modern art section (god this museum is confusing!), bright colors really aid my visuals and bring back the trip. I stand back from a painting of lilies on a pond. Walking around it in a semi-circle, it appears 3D. It's absolutely gorgeous as certain colors appear and disappear. C and I stay in front of it for several minutes, in utter awe that LSD can produce such amazing effects. Bright colors bring happiness and we are swayed into different emotions simply by the tone of each painting.
5:30: The waves of my trip are frequent, one painting produces lovely visuals and an emotional response. The next painting and I feel sober. It's strange, but I realize how powerful LSD is and the things it can do.
6:00: We decide to leave the museum. Since A and T live close by, they decide to walk home together since they have plans for later. The cold air is sobering, so we quickly walk to my friend's car. We reminisce about the museum, discussing certain pieces that stand out to us. Since A and T have left, the trip feels like it has ended in a way.
6:15: Arriving home, the trip resumes. All we needed was a change of setting. We do a couple whippits and converse with my roommates. We decide to surf the web and go to Google. We pause and realize that the Google logo looks hilarious! the o's are sliding away from each other, the E looks like a little Pacman, and the G is wavering back and forth, mutating and transforming.
"What did you do this weekend?"
"Oh, I stared at the Google homepage."
We erupt in a fit of laughter.
Over the next couple hours we converse and surf the web, looking at psychedelic and colorful images. Some pictures produce interesting visuals, others don't. We bask in the after-glow of the trip and discuss the differences of taking piracetam with LSD vs. just LSD, and here's what we all noticed:
-Piracetam potentiates LSD. 800mg piracetam makes 1 drop of good acid feel like 1.5-2hits. 2 hits of acid feels more like 3-4 hits.
-There is more of a serotonin "buzz"
-The trip is accelerated. LSD does not act as long on piracetam. You peak faster, shorter, and come down more quickly but you sustain a long, beautiful afterglow with nice OEVs.
-You are less disoriented in terms of the body high. (i.e. I don't get as much vertigo or "where did my [insert limb] go?" with the addition of piracetam).
-Clearer thoughts.
I love piracetam with LSD, it's probably the most enjoyable way to take LSD for me at this point. I highly recommend it if you get the chance!!
