LSD, nitrous, weed, experienced .............. which world is real?
Here is my first trip report ever.......
Consumed: 2 blotter tabs of acid, 10 'nangs', 2-3 cones
After months of ‘acid drought’ me and some mates had managed to get hold of some trips, and planned to trip together during daylight on the weekend. After looking forward to this all week, I woke up full of excitement, and was thrilled to see the weather was sunny and warm - the scenery was going to be beautiful on LSD.
0:00 M, A, & myself arive at Y’s house and drop 2 trips each.
0:40 no effects yet, we start to worry these trips are duds. Y & A decide they want pizza, and since they are feeling no effects yet it will be safe to drive and get some. They are gone for about half an hour, at the end of which I finally notice a slight ‘weird’ feeling and some brightening of colours in the house.
1:00 pizza, Y & A arrive. Y is starting to buzz. A is well ahead of us, and starts asking us if we are real and if we can hear her. She also starts pointing at things that aren’t there. We are all happy the trips are working. M, Y & A start on the pizza, I decide I want fruit-flavours and munch on some Skittles, they taste super. Then I drink some sprite and enjoy the feeling of bubbles in my mouth.
2:00 our friends N & L arrive, and drop their trips. By now the floor has starting moving like water, the curtains are flowing, and when M brushes his hand over his face he pulls his eyes down his cheeks. I am loving these visuals.
2:30 We all decide it would be fun to have some nangs. I have 6 of the little bulbs in quick succession, I giggle a lot, then world goes black and I have a great hallucination. I am standing on top of a huge cliff with thousands of people below looking up at me and cheering, I’m not sure exactly why they are cheering, but I’m sure I’ve done something great. Then the ‘nangnangnang’ noise fades and vision returns. As usual with nangs I feel that I must have been ‘gone’ for hours, but in reality this has only lasted a few seconds. I am disoriented and don’t know where I am, then I realise ‘Oh that’s right, I had nangs, now I’m coming back to reality’. But I am confused when reality is full of melting walls and wavy carpet. This cannot be reality! Maybe the nang hallucination was reality, and now I’m hallucinating! Which reality is the real one? Then I remember, I took acid. This is the real world, it just looks trippy to me.
3:00 we move outside. It still sunny and bright, and going from the dark of inside to sunny outdoors is like the scene in Wizard of Oz where it changes from black&white to colour. The plants are glowing green with colourful flowers that look ‘lit up’ from inside. The sky is very blue, and the clouds are all kinds of shifting shapes. I dangle my feet in Y’s swimming pool and enjoy the feeling of water moving over them. Y jumps in the pool with all her clothes on and has a swim, but gets a little scared when she thinks the water goes on forever, and she’ll never get out. M fishes her out.
4:30 after her swim, Y had disappeared to change clothes, and has not returned. I go in search of her and find her hiding just inside the door wearing new clothes with a blanket wrapped around her “why don’t u come back outside with us?” I ask, she says “I can’t tell if my new clothes are real or not, I don’t know if I’m naked, I don’t want to go out in just a blanket!” We both start laughing, and I try to prove her clothes are real by touching them “I wouldn’t be able to touch them if they weren’t real!”. We go outside, but Y keeps the blanket on ‘just in case’. We stay outside, looking at the clouds and the gardens. We are all laughing pretty much constantly, all having very happy trips. N says “do u know what’s really funny? We’re all laughing together, but we’re laughing at completely different things!” at the time this seemed hilarious and made as laugh even harder.
7:30 the visuals have finished, the trips are wearing off. we move back inside and chill on the couches smoking cones. These bring back visuals to a degree, colours are brighter and patterns move a bit, but nowhere near as much as before. We are all pretty tired and just talk about our day until we fall asleep.
