Acid, E, K and Coke -- First time for each -- Disneyland
I spoke to a friend of mine named Matt in my class and he said he was going to some 'unoffical raver day' at Disneyland and if anyone wanted to come he could give them a ride. So, I decided I would go.. went home and went to sleep then woke up and headed over to his house.. At that time I realized that his friend Cory's Mom was driving us insted since his car had broken down.
We set off, arrived some time around 9-10:00AM.. I had never done any other drugs than Marijuana at this point in my life but I had been on the look out forever to get some acid.. At first it looked like no one was showing up, maybe it wouldn't even happen.. we gradually saw the candy kids coming out though.. more and more weird kids all over..
I was beggining to think we wouldn't be able to get anything, then Matt's girlfriend Allie spotted a friend of hers and she was selling acid.. So, being my first time I baught one tab then I gave Matt some money to buy himself a couple more tabs since I had way too much money. I guess he thought I was trying to be covert or something and slide him the money to get more tabs for myself cause he gave me 2 more tabs..
So, I figured whatever.. took 2 more.. wandered around for a little bit, anxious for the effects to start when we located someone selling E and we each baught a pill. No idea what type it was or anything looking back on the experience, so.. I chewed it up and almost spit it out the taste was so gross. I thought everyone was just 'teasing the new guy' by telling me to chew it up..
Anyway, I got it all down.. No noticable effects yet. I honestly don't remember any of the time frame throughout the rest of the story as I really didn't care. Allie baught some huge lollipop and I remember looking at it and wondering why it was so bright and vivid. Everything was bright, colorful. Motion all around me. Everything seemed to work together as one complete scene. I remember saying something like, "It's a whole new world." then I really started to feel it.
We walked back to Cinderrella's Castle where the raver meet up was supposed to be. I was watching shadows flying all over the ground independant of anything else, just melting along the ground. I sat down on some metal railing and noticed a bunch of Moms who seemed to be saying something along the lines of, "Yeah, their on drugs.. I know it.. the one with orange hair.. I think her name is Allie".
So, at that point I was beggining to worry and I looked around for my friends but they were gone. Stay cool I thought, no reason to freak out. It's only a drug. I walked around for a bit and found out they were actually just on the other side of the railing. So, I assumed they heard the Moms talking too. I looked at Allie for awhile and she was smiling and laughing, so I assumed I had hallucinated the whole thing.
We decided we should go on Pirate's of the Caribean so we started walking through the crowds of ravers.. Cory said something about how their all here for my amusment, nothing else. And I watched them all, fucked up out of their minds, rubbing each other and laying on the ground. Thought something like.. "Do they just come to these gatherings, mesh together and leave with whoever they can?" the idea that these were actual people with lives outside of this didn't occur to me. I thought of them as homeless kids, people with no lives. By the way, I have nothing against ravers thats just what happened at the time.
Anyway, while walking I remember seeing the ground as being off center and warped.. colors were melting everywhere around me, light was exploding. We finally reached the Pirates of the Carebean and got in the boat.. putting my hands in the water felt so good, and the mist blowing in the tunnels. I put on Cory's sun glasses and exibits seemed to just float into view then fade away, there was nothing in between. Continued like this until the end of the ride, then we went on the Haunted Mansion. Lots of insane visuals, shadows playing pianos and such, I couldn't tell what was real, what was fake, and what was in between.
Suddenly half way through the ride all the lights came on and the entire ride shut down. At this point, it all finally got to me. The paranoia set in too much, I felt like getting out and just running but Cory kept talking to me and I felt I owed it to him to stay and converse for some reason. Security or matinence or someone came and pulled the roll bar thing down on the ride, that's why they stopped it. Cory held it down when the ride was starting so we could move around. Pretty funny when I look back on it. They all left and the ride started again, I completley forgot how scared I was only moments ago.
We got off and I remember going over one type of conveyer belt and me and Cory both fell. For some reason it threw us forward or something. KInd of strange for us both to fall. Anyway, Allie saw some guys she knew and they started hanging out with us.
They had some K and I was skeptical at first because I was already so gone. Then I decided if I can handle all I have already at Disneyland I might as well go all out. Not to mention the ravers laying all over obviously fucked up who wern't getting in any trouble. There were simply too many of us. So, they told me to do a small 'bump' and of course I had no idea what that was, slang for a line? Thats what I thought. I went into a bathroom and did a line.. now that I'm more experienced with K I would say it was probably 3 or 4 bumps.
So, I came out.. not noticing anything different. We walked over to some Cafe for a little bit and did some lines of coke and smoked a couple bowls under this porch thing. It's hard to explain but it wasn't in any open area. As son as we sat down to start smoking and doing lines the K hit me, or maybe all 3 hit me at once, or something. I really don't know.
I remember seeing miniture candy kids crawling in the bushes and playing in the trees. I looked out across the lake and was watching people eat their dinner. One lady was crying and her son was covered in blood. Some other guy was fighting with a duck over his hamburger. I couldn't do anything but laugh, I just laughed until it hurt.
Matt told me to go refill the water bottle they had cause I had drinken it like 4 times each time they filled it up. So, I walked back up into Disneyland and found a water fountain to fill it up, I remember watching all these kids playing with little toys with lights and those glow necklaces and stuff.. Everything seemed to exist of color, whenever I was moving everything just melted together and rolled. The only time I had awareness of what I was doing or what was happening was when I stopped and sat down somewhere.
We all walked to Indiana Jones when I got back and I decided I would just stay out front cause the idea of going on that ride right now made me think I might screw me trip up. So, I just sat on some jagged rock.. laying there. At the time I assumed it was completley normal. I watched people around me, having fun on their facation while this flock of ravers fucked up out of their minds surrounded them and their family.
I loved it. Disneyland is indeed the happiest place on Earth. While they were on the ride it had gone from twilight to night, the world around me was alive with lights, glowing things, and all kinds of weird stuff. It was a whole new experience, it wasn't 100 degrees out anymore. I could actually move without pouring sweat and having to stop to drink water or go to the bathroom.
We decided we would go and watch the street parade thing, on the way there we found a fountain that sprayed water over the walkway from one fountain to another and we all sat under it for a long time watching all the water going over us. By the way time we decided to leave the parade was over, or almost over anyway. So we headed to Cinderella's Castle again.
They had a fireworks display and I couldn't do anything other than watch in wonder at them, it was amazing. I'm sure there was some kind of play or something going on under them but I couldn't have cared less. Out of no where, this girl who couldn't have been more than 8 years old came up and just started talking to all of us.
She was dressed up like a candy raver and was saying something about how she had come here with her family and ditched them all to go roll. She was saying something about her Cell phone and some other stupid stuff, then Allie told her to get lost before she killed her. So, the kid just walked away. At the moment I really didn't register how weird it was to see someone who was like 8 rolling at disneyland dressed as a candy raver, but man that's sad.
Anyway, we all did another bump of K or in my case another line however much that was. Cory took out like 50 of those Pepsi Challenge wrist bands and handed them out, I just played with mine, it looked like it was going to break even when I was barely touching it and felt like it was covered with slime. Cory started shooting them at people as they walked by, which was VERY amusing to me. Then he would walk out and look for them and when a group of tourist walked by him he would fall down and start screaming he had been shot and they would all start taking pictures, like it was part of the amusment park. Very funny stuff.
That went on for awhile then this guy Mike who had been the one despending all of the K was walking around to candy ravers who were obviously messed up and he would start yelling at them that they stole his spleen, liver, lung, any other random body part. They would get all worried and deny it, then Cory would walk up and be like, "I couldn't find your lung man!" then Mike would tell him that the person had it and Cory and Mike would start yelling at them and telling them to give it back. Very funny stuff.
Then we noticed that Matt was missing so we looked around for a bit then Allie got worried and said we should go look for him. Out of no where they all started running, so.. I started running too since I didn't wanna get left behind, everything was kind of blurry and didn't make much sense. All I remember is Matt saying something about how he can't even take a piss without someone holding his hand and Allie making out with him.
At this point we decided to head to McDonalds across the street, on the way there Matt hit all the metal chains attached to the little posts they used to control lines and stuff and he was saying, "It's music! It's music!" and all these tourist were gathered around clapping and taking pictures. I've never laughed so hard in my life. Well, we finally got to McDonalds and there were some ravers there staring at the floor laughing so we went up to them and we were talking to them. Allie said she couldn't talk anymore though cause it smelt too much like Vics and she would throw up on them.
So, we all ordered food, I got like a coke or something. Then we went to sit down and I remember seeing like 10 chairs all around each other and having no idea how I was suppoosed to sit down in one since they were so close, so I just walked through them all pushing them over and sat down in the last one. Everyone was just staring at me then they were laughing, at the time I thought it was because I had been so quiet the entire time and I finally did something... or something like that, who knows.
We finished eating and decided we should go outside and wait for Cory's Mom since she was gonna pick us up soon. Some homeless guy was asking for spare change and I gave him $100 and Cory was like, "Your an idiot" and I said, "Hey, I'm not gonna use it.. if I was out here I would appreciate it". Even though that was nice, that was pretty stupid. I'm not rich =P.. Well, after waiting for awhile Cory's Mom showed up and we started going home. I remember everyone trying to talk and they kept stuttering and saying stupid stuff then trying to play it off since his Mom was there. Once we got close to my house I was trying to tell her how to get to my house but I couldn't see out of the windows for some reason. They looked clear but the outside looked like a random assortment of lights and objects that made no sense. So, I just said some random stuff like turn here and yeah down there.. got dropped off the next block up from my house cause I didn't wanna say I couldn't see out the window. I walked home, having minor visuals like grass blowing when there was no wind and shadows playing with each other on the ground. When I got home my parents were still awake and wanted to talk to me, I just told them I felt sick but I had fun so I was just gonna go to bed. So, I went into my room and layed on my bed staring at the ceiling as it contorted and swirled around. Fell asleep some time around 1:00am.
P.S. - I know taking that many drugs, unexperienced, and at Disneyland was very stupid but it's done and nothing bad happened. So, please don't lecture me about it
I don't recommend anyone try it as I felt like I was on the verge of insanity the entire time, sort of like I was just so out of it I didn't know how serious the situation was so I was calm.
