LSD in water?

Ok I don't know if this is a completely ridiculous question, however being relatively new to LSD I have no idea about its makeup etc.

At a festival this weekend I bought some drops of LSD, some which I had straight away, however 2 were dropped into a bottle of water. As the drop I had straight away was quite strong I never actually finished the water. Now I'm just wondering does LSD completely dissolve in water over time or would it actually do anything if I drank it at a later date?

I'm actually not sure but chances are it was tap water so it's probably a goner unfortunately :(

I'm not sure where the water came from but it wasn't an unopened bottle so I can't really vouch for it.

Thanks for your quick response :) At least I will know for next time lol

Methinks it's OK if the tap water is not chlorinated. I need to check Tihkal for that, I thinks it's mentioned there. Don't know if Mineral water would have the same effect. Carbonated drinks, don't know, but carbonic acid eats limestone away (over many years) and LSD is extremely fragile so might it be a problem. This is my uninformed opinion. Someone may know better. Peace - cherish your LSD - Pipp

Most tap water form municipal water sources is chlorinated. If that's what you had the LSD would be toast. Mineral (spring) water would be fine I would think.

I still wouldn't dose acid in that way because it would dissolve into such a great volume of water and you'd have to drink the whole bottle to get your dose.

I've had LSD that was put in a bottle of tap water intentionally so I could get very low doses of it on a daily basis, and it still worked even with the last bit of water and blotter.

As I recall I used filtered water and let it sit out for 24 hours so if there was any chlorine it would get taken out of the water as I was told this happens before putting the dose in.

I was trying to imitate this and it did work!

I would assume the slushies are made with tap water, so still a no go. It may not be completely inactive, but any LSD molecules that come into contact with any of the chlorine in the tap water will break down.

To clarify in case anyone is still confused: water itself won't harm LSD; it'll dissolve into the water just like most drugs, and you can drink the water to dose. Chlorine, which is added to almost all tap water supplies but is absent from distilled water and most bottled water, happens to react chemically with LSD, turning it into a slightly different, completely inactive compound.

Ive witnessed my friend trip after having a drop from a vial put into his glass of orange soda, but yeah i definitely think tap water would kill it.
