LSD for self help???

You're right. Everyone knows DMT is the way to go. :p

Yeah i found LSD, although to be incredibly useful in analyzing yourself and your surroundings at a pace that you can integrate into your experience.. it did seem to leave me somewhat always looking for the last piece of the puzzle, always teasing me and never showing me what the picture was.

DMT however showed me everything within the first 40 seconds of inhalation. The breakthrough was the most therapeutic experience of my life.

It's like the whole, 'they can show you the door, but only you can open it' type of thing. certain compounds can show you what is possible, a certain state of mind that you didn't know existed before. but eventually the chemicals run out, and even if you feel good for a while after, old habits will slowly regain control, if you let them. it's gonna be up to you to consciously decide how you integrate your experience with the rest of your waking life.

Did you remember everything?

Depends on your definition of 'everything'. It showed me everything in relation to what i was looking for.. which LSD unfortunately couldn't provide me with (not to say LSD isn't an incredible substance).

I took LSD to its limit as much as i could in terms of searching for what i wanted to know, DMT took me to the next level and showed me what i needed to see. If i could remember 'everything' that i experienced, i would have to cease to exist as i am. But i remembered enough to take from it what i was searching for.

I agree wholeheartedly with this post. There is no magic cure for eliminating our "problems" the only thing to do is really work with them. Bear in mind your 19 (or so) everyone has some kinda problem that they think is the most important thing in the world (in fact age doesnt really have a whole lot to do with it for most of us). Psychs can be a helpful 'experience' but its just a glimpse and not the 'answer' we are all looking for. i love tripping and it has certainly expanded my life, but it didnt solve my problems.
peace,
days
