first acid trip
A little background to start off with...the two weeks leading up to this trip were very eventful for me...a few tests, a major assignment, and plenty of other emotional happenings...so I knew I was in for a bit when I decided to trip last night.
Originally, I was planning on taking two hits of some strong liquid, but once it came down to getting dosed, I decided one hit would probably be best for me since it was my first time. My friends J and L had done acid before, so they each had two hits, and another guy, D, had two hits even though it was his first time. After we got dosed around 5pm, we went to somebody's house to pick up some stuff. It seemed like we were there a long time, and I started to notice that I was feeling a bit anxious...I couldn't quite figure out what was actually different, but I knew something was going on.
While I was waiting for my friends to get stuff, I went to the bathroom, and that's when I noticed the acid...the room suddenly seemed brighter in an irritating way. We finally left, and that was about an hour or so after we had been dosed. We went to one of the campus centers so people could check their mail and stuff, and that's when I started to feel a little bit separated from the people that weren't tripping.
It seemed as though I was watching a really bright movie, so I went outside to wait for the others to get done with their stuff. After that, we went to one of the dorms...and things got a lot more hectic. There were three main rooms in the dorm, and each room had a different feeling. At first, I really enjoyed watching a computer program that was designed to go with music...it seemed to change my emotion according to the music, colors, and patterns on the screen. It was amazing. I started coming up with very interesting thoughts on life, especially on the things I had been pondering over the past two weeks.
D came in, and he too realized that the colors and music had an incredible affect on his emotional state, so we began discussing which screens we liked, and why we liked them. I found it rather funny that we were having such a discussion when I just met him like two hours before this. Anyways...my trip seemed to be getting more intense, and that's when I little bit of emotional instability occurred. Several sober people, some of which I did not know, were coming in and out of the dorm. For some reason, this stressed me a lot. There was a girl that kept coming in, and I was really bothered by her...it was like she had some sort of bad energy that she brought with her.
She wore red, and I started to get anxious around her. I thought she had left the room so I told J that she was bothering me for some reason. D thought that she heard me say that, and I freaked out. I went into the closet for a second because I thought she was gonna get really mad at me; however, I came out of the closet really quick once I realized how silly the whole thing was...that was the point that my trip turned into an amazing time. I figured out how to control my feelings even though they would get overwhelming.
It had been about three to four hours since getting dosed, and I think I was getting peak affects. I enjoyed one of the screen savers a lot...it was a picture of a girl sitting by a very serene lake with a rising sun. When I stared at it, I could see the fog rising above the lake to surround the sun. I also imagined that the fog was water at one point. I also had this red ball that lit up when it hit the floor, so all the trippers gathered in one of the larger rooms while I tossed it around...it would roll across the floor to get lost under some chair. It was funny to see how none of us could manage to find it in the dark...the room seemed to get so confusing in the dark. After this, two guys decided that they wanted to smoke, so all the people tripping decided to go on a walk with them into the forest. The forest was incredible! It seemed like we walked forever through the trees. The forest is very dark at night, but for me, it was only silver, gray, and white. Everything was mystical...everything sparkled in a very beautiful way.
Once we got to a secluded spot, people began smoking, and I kinda wandered around when I started to notice that I had some major spacial distortions. I would move a few feet away to stare at the people smoking, and it looked like I had moved about thirty feet away...so then I kept walking back and forth because I enjoyed this strange distortion. I also stared at the trees for a while, and the branches were moving all over even though there was no wind. Everything was alive in a wonderful way. After everyone smoked up everything, we left the spot, and D and I began talking about amazingly complicated things. Everytime I would get lost in his thoughts, I would just start laughing...it was so great. We finally made it back to the dorm and turned on some more music...trance again.
I decided to try doing some lights to the music...I have blue photons. It was very interesting to do lights, as it kinda wrapped me up in the moment, and I almost felt disoriented when I stopped moving them around. L and D thought was it was very pretty as well. I enjoyed the trails I was getting from the lights, as well as the trails I would get when people moved their hands around...it seemed like their hands would leave like several prints behind. After all this, L, D, and I went to L's dorm. J decided to stay where he was for a while, as it was now around 11:30pm. L's dorm was very peaceful and trippy. He had lots of glowing posters, a black light, and nice trance music. I enjoyed staring at one of the posters because of the fuzzy mushrooms. The black fuzz looked like little clusters of caterpillars moving around.
J eventually came over after a long period of decision making, something I noticed to be a trend of acid. J and L hit the nitrous while I talked to people on aim. I really enjoyed talking to my friends on aim at that moment because I was having fun telling them about all my profound thoughts. J left around 1, and D and I left around 1:30. We walked back to collegetown, and that's when my mind was becoming a little less hectic, so I tried to put together all my thoughts a little bit. I also noticed that all white lights had wonderful blue halos around them. Car lights also had very pretty rainbows flowing from them. I finally made it back to my dorm to greet my roommate...she thouroughly enjoyed hearing about my adventures.
I decided to talk to my friends on aim while I listed to some happycore until about 5am. The comp screen was still shifting by the time I went to sleep, and things still felt abnormal, but I was so happy with my trip that I just fell asleep in the middle of some thought. It was kinda difficult to get to sleep at first because I kept seeing small geometric patterns when I shut my eyes. There were also very colorful dots that would dart around, but my body and mind were so tired that I just had to sleep. I woke up like three hours later, and I felt amazing...like I had come up with the best things.
Alright...that's my trip in a nutshell, as I didn't really cover my profound thoughts at all. I feel like I barely even got to the point of it all. It made me feel like a better person for some strange reason, and I'm really thankful I got to trip with J, L, and D. I have to say that I really love acid, and I can't wait to explore it again sometime in the future. Hope this is good.
