So, the past weekend i had the opportunity to attend a Bush Doof (Australian Rave in the Bush)
Had never been to one before, i had been to music festivals and such, but nothing like this. Remote area out in the middle of no where, amongst the tree's and all. I knew that a lot of people went too these specifically for acid, so it was my best chance at trying some, this probably wasn't the best place to try it, it felt really intense with all the lights,music,lasers,fire and tree's. But ill get too that.
I had a good idea of what to expect, but never experiencing it first hand i still didn't have a perfect idea.
Bought 1 tab, dropped it around 11pm. Also dropped a White Heart E about 30mins after the tab. The LSD started to kick in about 45mins after taking it.. was only slight confusion and disorientation, the ecstasy started to kick in about 30mins later.. i ended up feeling the ecstasy more then the LSD for a few hours. So i was more or less just chatting a lot during this time..
After about another hour i could feel the effects of the ecstasy wearing off, and this is where the acid hit me hard. Just suddenly i had to sit down next too the fire and just be to myself for a bit. It started to feel like i could hear whispers from all around me, and i started hallucinating a lot more then i ever expected.
I was sitting next to two of my friends at the fire which didn't drop any LSD. At first i was seeing some morphing going on with my friends face, like it was melting.. so at this point i was in awe, 'wow this is really having an effect on me', when i closed my eyes, i could see hundreds of beads and patterns bouncing and moving in sync with the music.
I started to stare at the tent with the DJ behind my friends, it seemed like there were dancing flames with faces dancing with the beat of the music on the tent from the tree's shadows, the next part of this, is where i started to get a little freaked out. As i was staring at the flames watching them dance, i could hear my friends talking to me and laughing at me.. but it was as if i had re-organized there audio and moved it to the back of my mind, so i could focus more on the beats from the music.
Things started to then get even more crazy as i was looking at the ground in front of the fire.. the tread marks from peoples shoes left little grooves in the sand, which started to form into a town/small city and i was sitting on top of it, i had control over the entire town.. like i was playing god.
This started to become a bit intense for me and i had to move somewhere else. I went over too my car to get some water. It was at this point that it felt like i was my own mind. I was able to see how i could send a thought to move my arm to pickup the water bottle, and it would move my arm.. but i couldn't feel my arm or any part of my body.
I traveled back over too my friends with this new weird feeling, and as i got there i could hear more whispers, people speaking (or at least i thought they were) it seemed like i could hear what my friends were thinking been in this state of been my own mind. I started to also watch the people dancing, some with hula hoops, i swear i could feel the feeling of that hoop around my body just by watching it.
There were quite a bit of people on LSD there, some coming up to me and just speaking a lot of gibberish and then walking off again, others were in a trance/sync dancing too the music.
This went on until Sunrise, where the effects seemed less intense, but were still effecting me quite a bit. With the sunrise came a thick layer of mist, i couldn't see anymore then 10 meters in front of me. I started to see people running around in the distance far out in the mist, i couldn't tell if they were real people or not.
The DJ was still going at 8am when we decided to leave, i was forced to drive by my friends.. i still don't know why they thought it was a good idea for me with a head full of acid to drive. So as we was leaving, the mist on the road didn't help in any sense, with everything else that was going on. There were points during the drive that i would suddenly break because i thought we were going down a hill, when in fact it was a flat road. It didn't help that my breaks were playing up and i couldn't tell if i was imagining my breaks working or not.
After getting into the local town, i freaked for some reason and drove down the wrong side of the road almost hitting a truck. At this point i said fuck it, and forced one of my more 'sober' friends to drive. My whole mind was scattered during the drive back and the music in the car was amazingly clear, like a surround sound inside my head. I was still feeling effects at 1pm the next day (13hrs after taking it) I felt like it was never going to end, i slept it off after not sleeping for 32+hrs.
It was a drug i over estimated.. but nothing less then an out of this fucking world experience, i'm still amazed at what it was capable of.
I think next time if i do it again, its gonna be at someones house or someplace more calm.. there was just too much going on at that rave.
