PART 1: THE BEGINNING!
Time: 8pm ish
************************

I live in a share house with two other guys and on Friday night we were sitting at home not really knowing what we would do with the weekend. Before we even took, or for that matter possessed the lsd, the night had an amazing vibe to it. We all seemed to know that this would be an amazing night/weekend even though we didn’t know what we were doing yet. The three of us sat at home just having a few quiet beers and watching tv and friends just started showing up randomly. Now normally our friends do show up like this as our house is a bit of a party house, but only normally 1 or 2 of them show up at any given time. This night however 4 of our friends all randomly came over to the house within a period of an hour as if they were drawn here by some greater force; the energy in the air was amazing! So there was 7 of us in total… J, S, M, H, G, P and myself… easily the largest group I (or anyone else there) had ever tripped with. And then my friend’s lsd dealer showed up randomly with a large quantity of liquid. We all pretty much knew what we would be doing from then on. The dealer said the acid was a better batch than the previous stuff we had had (which wasn’t bad by any means) and I estimate each drop of liquid to be about 150ug.

We dropped the acid onto sugar cubes and put them on a plate. It didn’t take us too long to consume some of it… we each chomped 2 cubes and sat around and chatted for a while before we decided to go over to M’s house for a while. We took 3 cars over there and I was with J in his car, the trip started to creep in while we were driving and we had St. Germain playing on the cd which set a nice chilled out tone for the start of the trip. We arrived at M’s house and we all sat on the veranda talking and welcoming the signs of lsd into our system. The night started of quiet… just chatting away and I noticed the incredible detail in the bricks of the house and I smiled to myself as I knew that an amazing night was about to take place. Everyone was in the best mood and everyone was aware of this amazing energy that the night had as I mentioned before. The world started to transform into the untainted crystal clear universe as my mind slowly drifted away. We decided at some point that we should have more acid to celebrate a night with all 7 of us and such a good vibe to it. J had brought some more with him but only 6 cubes so everyone had one except for M so we had to go back to get more. So everyone except for myself and M packed into J’s car and went back to get more. I do not endorse driving on lsd as it can be quite dangerous but we did do quite a bit of it this evening none the less. We were all tripping pretty hard by this stage and as me and M waved goodbye to the car it seemed as if they were leaving to go on a vacation, me and M both felt a strange sense of sadness that they were going, even though they would be back in 10-15 minutes. They drove away and me and M went on a bit of an adventure through the back yard.

We found a statue of a lady about 60-70cm high that had been broken in the garden, I picked up the lady’s head which is the weirdest possible thing I could have found on acid. Here I am tripping out of my brain and I am holding this stone head which fits perfectly into the palm of my hand. Looking at the head was amazing. There was so much emotion in the face it was scary. From one angle it looked like she was sad and crying, from another she was smiling in a cheeky mona lisa kind of way and from another she seemed to be in pain. The head was very weathered and cracked which gave her a very scary almost zombie kind of look… but if you looked past the cracks and dirt you could see these amazing emotions.

We decided to go for a walk around the block to take up some time before the others returned. We took the head with us and she become a permanent fixture in the rest of the evening. I walked down the road and the asphalt started to twist and turn into repeating endless fractal patterns, I looked up at the sky… it was a beautiful evening, yet no stars were in the sky. A thin layer of orange/red clouds covered the deep blue sky in the most amazing display of colours. We found a laneway which was very long and inviting so we walked up the path to the end and we were greeted with a house which had the most amazingly manicured green grass you had ever seen. M jumped the bushes and ran across the soft moist lawn. I had shoes on but promptly removed them and followed suit. The grass was so amazingly spongy and soft and I ran around in circles numerous times until I had had my fill. We hurried back to the house as we thought they might be arriving back soon. There was swing music playing on the cd player as we returned which made us feel like going back into a time warp to the 30’s. We sat out the front tripping out of our minds… although I’d had three cubes so far the last one I took hadn’t even kicked yet… I couldn’t wait to find out how much crazier the night would become. Soon after the others returned, and all 5 of them piled out of the car like clowns in a circus car. They gave M his third cube and pointed out to us that they had all decided to have another on while they were there… so we both had to catch up…. All 7 of us had eaten 4 cubes each…roughly 600ug! We were all tripping very hard and the second two trips had barely kicked yet!

****************************
PART 2: THE CRAZY PERIOD!
Time: 11pm (maybe…who knows?)
****************************

The next part of the night is a bit hazy and is what we refer to as the “crazy” part of the evening. No one is 100% what happened exactly. I’m not sure of the chronological order of events in the “crazy” period so I will just point out a few highlights. It was like the energy that had been building all night, even before we were tripping had culminated in this one period of utter insanity. We showed the others the head we found and some were scared by it and others intrigued… everyone agreed that it was the weirdest thing I possibly could have found while they were away. The “crazy” period largely involved us walking the streets around M’s house just going wherever we please and looking at whatever caught our eye.

Just near Ms house is a house which has the most amazing letter box, the guy has made a giant wooden painted frillo necked lizard which is bigger than me around his letter box. We all marvelled at how cool this was and the craftsmanship used to make this. A few of us stared at it for ages and the owner yelled at us through his window! We told him we weren’t meaning any harm, we were just admiring his work. He seemed happy with that and we went on our way….wherever that was.

At this “crazy” time in the night we were all not quite sure what we were doing but we were all having a blast. H had not tripped for quite some time and was having a hard time coping with such a large dose. He was constantly laughing and crying for hours and hours, he was having trouble comprehending it all but loving it at the same time. P who was a first timer was coping very well and I don’t think was actually tripping as hard as the rest of us… perhaps because he didn’t know what to expect and perhaps because he was trying to hold onto reality but he wasn’t tripping as hard as the rest of us. We were all still having the times of our lives,

The peak of the trip was indescribable. I could see the infinite, I was the infinite. No matter where I looked I could see what I can only describe as “forever”. Every particle of road, of tree, of me, of air was part of every other particle all at once. I remembered reading in “A brief history of time” a concept of the universe which basically suggested that the universe looked the same from wherever you were in the universe. Now to a normal conscious mind this concept makes no sense as we see the universe differently every day from wherever we look. But now I realised what this meant… No matter where I looked all I saw was forever and the infinite. The world was infinitely repeating fractals all inextricably linked with each other. No matter where I looked I saw what dubbed “the pattern”… it is a pattern which you seem to always see while tripping… it is a pattern which you could never draw due to its infinite nature, and its beauty is unmatched. I think many cultures, particularly Indian/Hindu type cultures have tried to reproduce this pattern in their art. But I have no doubt that you could never actually make the pattern in real life. It is something of a cross between a fractal pattern and an Indian rug. It is the very nature of the universe… a pattern upon which everything else is created and in which everything else exists. I would love to hear anyone else’s thoughts on “the pattern” as I am sure many other trippers out there have experienced it. It is more than just a visual…it is a feeling that overtakes your entire body and something I will remember forever.

I closed my eyes at some point in the crazy period and the concept of the infinite manifested itself in visual form within my mind, I couldn’t even begin to describe what I saw. It was more a concept than a picture, it was infinite and it was beautiful.

We sat in the middle of the road at some point just looking at the asphalt and the loose rocks on the road, G mentioned “hands” and we all started thinking about how strange our hands are… They are essentially these strange tools on the ends of big long reaching devices that we use to manipulate our world. When you start thinking about what they are and how we use them they become quite strange and alien.

Throughout this part of the adventure we carried the statue head with us, each taking turns in carrying it. Now the emotion on this head made carrying it quite a burden, yet one that you did not mind having. It was an honour and a Burdon at the same time much like the burden Frodo experienced while carrying the ring! It was an item you had to cherish and take care of, but when you looked into its eyes the feeling was so intense it was almost too much.

We decided that we should go somewhere more exciting! (not that we weren’t excited enough!) and started heading back to M’s house so that we didn’t get too far away from our home base. Eventually and somehow we arrived back at M’s house… I have no idea exactly how.

We stood on M’s driveway for some time and J commented that the concrete driveway looked like a satin bedspread…. And everyone agreed. The lighting gave the concrete a deep red/purple colour… and our minds saw “the pattern” all over the driveway which decorated it with the most infinitely complex embroidery. We marvelled at how this concrete could look like satin for ages. J then put his cigarette out on the “bedspread” and made a big black smudge across it… he instantly apologised and we all laughed at how much dry cleaning it would take to get that stain out!

In my bare feet I walked onto M’s front lawn. It certainly wasn’t as green and nice as the lawn from earlier but was much more natural and earthy. I watched the way the soles of my feet absorbed into the earth. I felt at one with the ground as it enveloped my feet and I enveloped it. Some of the other joined me and we all were amazed at the process of the earth touching our feet.

************************
PART 3: THE JOURNEY!
Time: what is time?
************************

Now back at our supposed home base we needed somewhere to go. We decided to go to J’s parents house as they were away and they had a really cool house not to mention a pool. (I have already written another report where we tripped here) The only problem was how would we get there? It wasn’t very far away, maybe 20-30 mins walk? But J left the keys at his house which was even further away. So again we needed to drive… we were tripping much harder and it probably wasn’t very safe but 5 of us drove back to J’s house to get the keys. The drive was insane, the road seemed three times as wide as it normally was. Luckily there was barely any traffic on the road and we made it there in no time. Myself and G went to G’s house (he is our neighbour) while J and the others went into our house to find this key. G went to get something to wear from his room and I was left sitting in the dark in his lounge room for a few minutes. In their house they have these things called “oggz” and they are the best tripping tools I have ever seen. They are rechargeable egg shapped lights made of soft rubber that cycle slowly through seven different colours. It sounds so simple but the effect is amazing. I held one in my hands, cradling it much like the head from earlier… I marvelled at the illumination, a saw the light turn into repeating fractals in the air. I then saw the statues head inside the egg which totally freaked me out. Luckily by now G was ready and we walked back across to J’s house. They came our and we headed back to M’s house.

The night seemed to have a strange theme of “doing things…and getting them done” we would set out to achieve a simple goal such as getting keys and we would do it…….although while doing these simple tasks we were tripping out of our minds and getting sidetracked and distracted every 2 seconds, so when we finally achieved and task it was with a great feeling of accomplishment.

We drove back to M’s and the drive was again quite intense. I decided to stick my head out the window like a dog… The feeling of speed was insane even though we were going fairly slowly. The fresh air smacking me in the face was so invigorating… dogs know what they are doing… its great! I came back in and we were almost at M’s house we came to an intersection and had to give way the car seemed to go past us like a 747 jumbo and we were all thankful that we gave way so well so that car. We arrived back with keys in hand and attempted to get everyone back together so we could walk to J’s parents house. We realised the irony of the fact that we just drove somewhere to get an item so that we could walk somewhere else? Why didn’t we just drive there in the first place??? So we all drove to J’s parents house in 2 different cars. Myself J, M and H went in one car and we decided that our speed limit should be “as enjoyably as possible” this speed was fairly slow and involved as getting out to look at things we saw a couple of times on the way. We showed J and H the really green lawn from earlier and also noticed some graffiti on a fence. The paint looked wet (everything looks wet on lsd) and we laughed as said: “The paint is still wet!... the graffiti artist must have left here only seconds ago!!!” Eventually we made it to our destination… we had set out to do another simple task…and we did it!

************************
PART 4: THE POOL!
Time: sometime while it was dark.
************************

We arrived at J’s parent’s house and proceeded to the pool as soon as we could. It is quite an expensive pool covered in pebbles and rocks around the edges and the entry point is like a beach. I had been telling G another time about how good being submersed in liquid is while tripping and he was the first to jump in… with all his clothes no less. The expression on his face was priceless. I had no swimmers but decided just to swim in my boxer shorts. I joined him and soon afterward a couple more did as well. P did not want to swim and S couldn’t because he recently had a motorbike crash and had scrapes and injuries everywhere he couldn’t get wet. They sat at the side of the pool playing guitar which set an amazing mood. Me and G discussed how amazing it was being able to move in any direction that you choose in water unlike on the ground when you are restricted by gravity. I looked up at the sky which was still covered in clouds making deep blue/red patterns in the sky. The clouds were covered in “the pattern” and they had thinned out a bit from earlier and just 5 or 6 stars were visible through them. Me and G and H watched them and marvelled at them while floating around the pool and listening to the acoustic guitar. S played a song he had written himself and it was a beautiful acoustic song which was the perfect music to accompany a sunrise…we told him he should wait until sunrise to play the song. Last time we tripped in this pool we had diving masks and snorkels and I asked J if he could get them. He had trouble finding them so we went on an adventure into the “cellar” to find them. This cellar is a room jam packed with wine, a shelf full of food and heaps of junk that doesn’t go anywhere else in the house. It is an amazing room to explore. We kept finding cool things to look at and kept forgetting what we came in for. Eventually we found a mask and snorkel but could only find one. It would have to do. Again we had set out to do something and we had done it! We came outside and decided that we would take the statues head which we still had underwater with us! There was only one mask however so everyone said I should be the first seeing as I found the head. I stood at the edge of the pool…tossed the head into the middle the dove in after it. I scooped it up and looked into its eyes. She smiled at me as if to say…this is the best thing I have ever experienced! All pain in her face was gone and she had pure happiness. I came up and told the others this and they all laughed yet M and J were quick to try it for themselves. I asked J if she smiled at him and he exclaimed “Did she ever!” It felt like we had taken this statue on the journey of its life and it was thanking us for doing so. We knew how ridiculous this was but it seemed to be totally logical at the time. Eventually we got out of the pool and dried off. We watched the water from our bodies drip onto the concrete ground and run into the dirt garden…we marvelled at the fluids properties as it intermingled with the earth. I said…”Look! We made mud!!!” to which J replied…. “That’s not mud… this is mud!!” and stomped his toe in the wet ground and made a big muddy mess….me marvelled again at the slimy brown earth and laughed. P at this stage was busy also watching the water but he was watching a very slow puddle gently creep across the concrete….I laid down with him and watched it… marvelling at how the edges obeyed the laws of physics and flowed perfectly…the edges again forming fractals and giving me another glimpse of the infinite. At some point P wanted to go home to ride out the rest of the trip on his own… I can understand that as a first timer you need some time alone to comprehend what is happening… he gave G a lift home who also wanted some time out. We planned to pick G up again at some point before sunrise.

************************
PART 5: THE PLAN!
Time: not too long before dawn
************************

We sat outside and wondered around in a daze for a while and some frosted bathroom glass caught our attention. The bumpy pattern was refracting with the light in the most amazing way and we decided we wanted to touch it, but the bumpy surface was on the inside so myself and J ventured inside the long way so that we could open the door to let everyone else in. Again we set out to do a task! We walked past the pool which sidetracked us for quite a while. We stood on the edge looking into it… the clear water almost disappears to the tripping mind and all that you can see is the edges of the pool. The refractions and lights being cast from the water were moving on the bottom of the pool which made it look like the pebble covered pool was empty yet still moving in waves…. The effect is incredible. J pointed out that you could see “the pattern” on the top layer of water and indeed you could. I then pointed out that you could pick a point in the pool…and depth of water and see the same “pattern” anywhere you chose too……… M’s voice screamed from afar “Keep your eyes on the prize!!!!”…… we laughed and realised we hadn’t even made it inside yet. We went upstairs but before we got to the door to let them in, we were again sidetracked by a painting. J turned the light on in the corridor where the painting was and we marvelled at how much depth was in the landscape. The light had a dimmer switch and J proceeded to change the lighting from dark to bright…. Doing so you could actually change the time of day in the painting. When dark the painting was filled with deep blues and greys and looked slightly overcast…infact it looked just like the night outside. As the light increased it was like day breaking slowly as colour filled the scene, slowly yellow and bright blue filled the painting until it was a bright glorious day! We decided that this was “the plan” for the rest of the day…….the sun would rise and I t would be a glorious day………the plan was brilliant and without fault. We raced to open the door and showed the others “the plan” and they agreed that it was indeed the greatest plan that had ever been formulated. It was faultless! We based the rest of our day around “the plan” which basically meant watching the sunrise and enjoying the beautiful day. Eventually we all went in and touched the glass we saw earlier…again we had set out to do something and we did it! I love the way the journeys that we went on to achieve these things were always more fun than the actual destination…I think people should remember that more in life. Sure life has things to do and various goals and destinations, but you will never be happy unless you have fun along the way. Life is not the destination…it is the journey.

We wondered around J’s house for a while looking at cool things, the house was set up still from his mums 50th birthday party which was pretty awesome while tripping with decorations everywhere. After a while we gave G a call and went to pick him up. It was just starting get light at this time so it was a race against the clock to pick up G and make sure that we did not miss “the plan” unfolding. We picked up G and decided to have 1 more cube to make “the plan” for the day all the more special!........bringing us to a grand total of 5 cubes each for the evening/day. We picked G up and headed back to J’s parents to watch the sunrise…and watch the plan. We sat on the veranda watching the sky fill with light……it was just as we saw it happening in “the plan” We looked out over the valley of houses and explained to G who is new to the area exactly where we were. He asked what and where the lake he could see was. We told him and then decided we should go there to watch the sunrise. Time was against us so was all piled in the car, but there was 6 of us so I had to hop into the boot, which while tripping seemed like a great idea! The boot was totally dark except for one red break light I could see. J turned his cd player on and put on “the streets” cd…. I was in almost total darkness, tripping and being filled with bass…wow! On the journey we dropped H home as he had to go and went to the lake. This 10 minute journey for me was amazing. I rolled into a ball and let myself just be a victim of gravity and centrifugal force. Feeling gravity at work on me from all angles and being filled with bass, combined with me closing my eyes and seeing the most intense psychedelic visuals was amazing! Eventually we arrived and feeling a bit disoriented I stumbled out of the car and was welcomed by the amazing sky. We had to walk a small way to get to the lake but all signs were showing that our plan was proceeding according to “the plan”……..the sky was pink and grey at this stage and all of a sudden a flock of Galah’s (pink and grey native birds for those who are not Australian) flew through the sky and blended in perfectly…amazing! We walked up to the water and looked at the algae growing…. The lake is somewhat polluted and dirty and is quite green, and although we were disgusted by the amount of algae in the water we were also memorised by it as it swirled and shone and lit up like neon. We walked to a jetty and watched the sun come up slowly turning the sky from blue and silver into pink and yellow just us the painting of “the plan” had predicted. We marvelled at it all for some time… the sky, the water, the hills…it was perfect. Eventually we went back to J’s parent’s house, dropping M off on the way and had a cup of tea and a biscuit and just chilled out while S played the song from earlier on the guitar, we asked what it was called and he replied that it did not have a name. We quickly decided that the song should be called “the plan” as it mimicked daybreak as in the picture perfectly through music. We cleaned up some of the mess we had made the previous night which while still tripping was quite fun.

********************************************
PART 6: GARAGE SALES AND WINDING DOWN!
Time: most of the morning
********************************************

After cleaning up we decided to go home and relax, we certainly needed it. On the way home however we managed to drive past two different garage sales! We could not resist. The first garage sale was quite large…and for around $4 we got some pretty cool stuff. We got a small landscape oil painting which we deemed “plan B” and we plan to hang it up and get a dimmer switch for J’s house. We also got an Egyptian painting on papyrus…obviously a cheap touristy thing but it was still kind of cool and a huge box of books, most of them crap but there were a couple of gems such as ‘the art of happiness’ by the dalai lama, a book I have been meaning to read for ages. We then went to another garage sale from which we bought a gigantic novelty children’s atlas with cool cartoons on all of the countries. We then went home and emptied the box of books out and filled it with beer and ice and spent the rest of the day relaxing and drinking a few beers and trying to piece together what exactly had happened the previous night.

This was easily the most intense and rewarding trip of my life… I don’t think I will have another trip for sometime… not because I don’t want to, just because I don’t feel I need to. This was certainly a life changing trip as well as an amazing bonding experience for all involved…it is a night which all of us will cherish and remember for a long time…

rofl that was great punktuality. Definitly inspires me to try some LSD at some high doses. I don't want to shake my finger at driving while under the influence, but you know now (hopefully).

Anyways great report. Sweet experience with sweet detail equates to sweet report.

Beautiful, an excellently written report :)

Re: "The pattern"

I have experenced this only once before, on the tail end of 3 blotters about 3 months ago. I did 'something', I think it was that I utilised/focused my 3rd eye, and i felt my conciousnes fall out of my body. I was transported to some place, but it was eternal and infinate, like a giant black expanse of space, but with no stars. There was a single point in the middle of all this, and it felt like my absoulte center of my conciousness.
What saw there I term "the k52 energy star" or 'the source'. It could be called 'god' pretty much, it was the center of everything, and i felt a familiar thread of it run through me. It looked like a giant multi-armed star, comprised of every single colour and some I could not even discribe, all flowing outwards from its center point. I cannot describe what it communicated to me, but I was told that the conciousness is eternal, and the journey after the physical plane is one that is amazing. I saw 7 points of glistening light, arranged in a pattern; one of the arms of the star split up and passed thru these 7 points of light, which changed the flow of the colours into my phyiscal body. After that, I flopped back on the floor gasping for air. It felt like 30 mins, but was really 15 seconds in external time. I hope to visit "the source" again some time...

Subsequently, my life hasn't been the same since.... ;)

Great - great - great!
I had my first LSD experience with my best friends in my parents house while they were on vacation. Unfortunately they have no swimming pool there, but they got a huge garden - and we all became part of it... And exploring all the different rooms in the house and the different vibes was the best thing to do. Anyway - excellent report! LSD just is something very very special...

funn you should say that. on my second lsd trip i wrote those exact words..

wow
I've read that report like five times now and all I can say is wow

as for the pattern, sometimes if the time is right you can find it sober

too tired to read the whole thing, but so far very good trip report, wheres the part about the pattern, or am i going to have to read the whole thing?

just thought i would make a quick post on this thread about the trip that is just winding down now...

Last night i had 1 cube of the same acid from the above trip...
My last few trips have been reasonably high doses but last night I only had one.... and this is the first time i have ever actually had "only 1" hit of acid....its always been in 2's or 5's or 7's...

I am just coming down of the trip now... I feel amazing...I feel energised. I cannot stress to any trippers what a small dose can do to a relatively trained mind. On only 1 cube of this acid...admitedly 100-150ug I am able to see "the pattern".... once you have seen it you can search it out and find it anywhere you look. As Numinous said... it really is the fundamental building block of nature....it is a matter which contains all other matter... it is forever.

I feel quite lightheaded and all this text is making me dizzy...
peace...

Golden :)

Since I had the pleasure of ingesting the same cubes as these, and no less, tripping with the same masterful "G", I get it now. Fucking awesome.

yep been there. recently i took some "e" and saw the pattern everywhere. it was very clear too. i have seen it on various drugs. maybe sometimes it is different. i suspect that the drug that was in my e was 2c-b
