Just wondering if anyone else has gotten a copy of Be Here Now and read it?

I am trying to get one of the copies back from this girl i loaned the last one to, so we can rip out each page / scan it all and make a PDF file available online for everyone to check out.

Even if you don't want to read the front and back of the book, that middle part - when your tripping, well its amazing so I want to make it available online for free, because I KNOW people aren't going to order it ;).

I talked to Ram Dass personally, went inside and ya know met up with him and he agree's it would be just great if i put it up on the internet :).
 
^ It's now called: Journey of Awakening, a meditator's guide book. The original title is cooler.

To avoid confusion, there is also an online enlightenment guide called The Lazy Man's Guide to Enlightenment, but it's nothing to do with Ram Dass.

Yeah I agree, the original title is cooler, indeed.
Still have my copy of The Lazy Man's Guide to Enlightenment. It is such a small book, yet so full of insights. what he teaches is not truth, it's only philosophy. When YOU experience it, that is when it becomes truth ...

At best a good starting point for a curious beginner seeking enlightenment in this "sometimes" crazy galaxy we occupy!

Ever read those "Ramtha" Books? Cheers

I bought a copy last week and am half way through the brown part.
I gotta try reading it while dosed though. Some of the things that are written there really remind me of revelations i have had on some of my trips.
Ill look into the journey of awakening book too. Thanks for the recomendation.

This is a bit off topic but if anyone is interested i just finished reading a pretty good book about drug use in america between 1945-2000.
Its called "Can't find my way home." Its basically abut the influence of drugs in post war america.
 
damnnnnnn mane! i didnt read any of the posts but i hope you can get nikki to read what you wrote about her and tell her how much she meant to your life, to help her out of her hole :)
 
He's the pyschedelic master. I know of no other voice I'd feel so comfortable leading my trips. Check his meditation series on ramdasstapes.org. Wow.
 
I am going to try reading the brown part of the book tonight while tripping.

I don't know why everyone is attacking GoddessLSD-XTC. I never met this girl before today and I think she knows what she's talking about. I personally do not think she was attacking Yeaesutom's post, as everyone seems to have reacted. She seems to me to be attacking something else, which no one seems to have noticed...

On that note, interesting repot, Tom :).

Now that you have witnessed the beauty of what is, my humble suggestion to you is to contemplate what is not.Try not being. Not here. And not now. In the words of Enigma, "Because Silence / Has the right to be heard." You may of course ignore the last few lines of brown colour ;)

Dude first of all, I'm really happy that acid and be here now worked for you. Second, I think you should probably persue your girl, yes the universe does work that way, and you're lucky it worked for you.

Third, hook me up with some cid!!!

And fourth, every second you aren't bashing down Nikki's door to tell her you love her is probably a second you shouldn't be living. U do love her, right? U better figure that out really fucking soon or prepair to live life as an renunciant in the forest hindu brother!

I have read this book threw a couple trips and it was like it is already in my brain...... I love it and thank you Tom...
