LSD dosage relation to negative effects

in coincidence.
I noticed with LSD that taking too small a dose caused more negative effects than taking a larger dose. Anyone else record this same thing with their experiments? It is like, if I don't take a strong enough dose of LSD (think less than 1 tab) i will get a barrage of negative effects and sort of sit on the edge of tripping, whereas I take a good couple or few tabs I go fully into the trip and it is then far more enjoyable with hardly any bad effects.

If being disappointed because I didn't take enough is a negative side effect, then sure. Otherwise, nah.

I like them both, low dose and high dose.

All for different occasions of course, in public lower doses are more welcome, in my private home I like the higher end of the dosage scale.

I find this is the case with most psychedelics - while people mostly focus on negative effects that occur when taking too much of a particular psychedelic I've also noticed the same when taking too little - you usually end up feeling "weird" and "off" in a way that isn't very nice, can't sit still, can't sleep it off, and are bored and unable to enjoy the trip.

That said, I enjoy low doses, medium doses, and high doses - but there's a point below what I'd consider a low dose when the effects are barely above threshold which is usually quite unpleasant, and there's also a point where the dosage is simply *too* high because I'm not gaining any new positive effects only negative ones.

When I was a kid (well, teenager) I definitely found this to be true. On smaller doses I used to focus too much on "avoiding bad trip triggers" which, of course, sparked paranoia mid-trip. Then I took a moderately high dose of lsd and found that the trip kind of makes itself and leaves less room for personal paranoia when you reach a specific dose. For me, anyways. I called it my "threshold dose" (before I knew what that actually meant) meaning I wouldn't bother taking anything lower because it left too much up to my imagination.

Hopefully I worded that okay.
