LSD blotter strength?

For many years - from around 1980 until a few years ago - there was an unofficial rule in the US acid scene that paper be dosed no higher than 100mcg/hit. Due to varying crystal purity, deliberately weaker laying, and degradation of product over time most hits were under 100mg - often well under - but no one saw hits dosed higher outside of specialty 'family' stashes.

That changed some years ago due to the re-writing of the carrier weight sentencing laws and the influx of LSD from outside the US. Now there are many paper doses of 150-250mcg, though the majority of what is available is much weaker.

Paper hit size, drop size, microdot or barrel size has nothing to do with dose.

So bottom line - there was a sort of standard for twenty + years, but no more.....

The potency of blotter varies so widely that with any new batch of blotter it is best to assume 1 hit is 1 dose. Also ask how strong the acid it is from your dealer if they are reputable and honest.

I've had acid where 1 hit blew me away and other batches were 5 hits wasn't nearly as intense, but usually I've found 3 or 4 hits to be a proper dose, but I never assume and always start lower when first testing out a batch.

Just thought I'd like to add, as I'm surprised no-one has mentioned this, almost all larger hits are a DOx, Bromo-dragonfly or another research chemical sold in place of acid. The reason for the larger blotters is that they all require a slightly larger dose than LSD, and so the dose can't fit on a smaller blotter.

I've only taken small blotters. Once it turned out to be something that lasted for 25 hours, obviously acid isn't going last for that long from just one hit. It was the exact same size and the WoW blotters I've taken that are good, I just didn't know the guy I got it from. I would not assume that just because a blotter is small that it is LSD.

Industry standard is alleged to be 4mg/cm^2, but that's hardly ever the case anymore, nor was it ever, as much as people would like to think. Really, it's whatever someone chooses, and seldom as advertised.
