Since I had the superb opportunity to trip in a peaceful seaside setting, I decided this was too good a chance to miss, and set off for our chalet with my stash of lsd and shrooms. Organised by 4.30 pm, I took a blotter of acid and waited for the effects to kick in. Gradually I began to feel things happening, and decided to go for a short walk. This wasn't terribly successful as I also decided I didn't really want to meet people and of course there was a lot more chance of that happening if I went out. The most memorable thing was walking past bushes of gorse, which were incredibly yellow!

I went back inside and lay down on the bed for a while, watching my hair bobble change into a frog. I listened to some CDs. At 6.30, I decided to inject a bit more life into the trip and took the best part of 2g decided of dried hawaiians. I became obsessed with seeing things more clearly, first of all cleaning the window I was looking out of, then putting my glasses on, then looking at things with binoculars to get the best view I could.

So I sat, looking out of the window thinking that nothing was really going to happen on this trip. I'd made sure that the setting would be peaceful, scenic and free from people so the result was bound to be a trip where all I could do was look out of the window and watch nothing very much going on outside. However, there was plenty going on when I really looked. The sand turned into a sea of its own complete with waves that didn't quite break. I thought a partridge had landed on the lawn, but when I next looked at the movement, it was only a small bird. The lawn was heaving and a nearby bush had faces in it.

I began to feel cold, so put the fire on - no small task in this state. I had to fill the paraffin container up from the big tank in the toilet and couldn't help but laugh as the liquid trickled out. It sounded and looked just like someone peeing, right down to the colour of the paraffin! The fact that I was in the toilet strengthened the association even more. Anyway, somehow I managed to light the stove and within minutes I knew I'd be warm. Our fire works! I sat back down to listen to Coolio on the CD and suddenly went through a very sad period that had me in floods of tears - I've no idea why. It wasn't a bad moment, just a chance to grieve for everything I felt I'd lost and I actually felt better afterwards. It passed when London Underground and Windows 95 Sucks came on the CD player - two amusing songs, and I couldn't help thinking how Windows 95 could almost be renamed Windows Vista, the issues were the same.

The time had got to 8.30 and suddenly too much was happening and everything had become very complicated! The shrooms had kicked in with the acid and I found myself experiencing a very strong trip. Making a cup of tea proved almost too difficult to accomplish as I found I could only think about and deal with the absolute present. I put one of the lights on as daylight was fading. Looking outside was suddenly WOW! A post was waving its arms around, guiding people towards various paths, and my vision of the beach turned into a kaleidescope which then disappeared as it got further away and became an ever smaller tunnel. It was an amazing effect I hadn't seen before. I began to feel overwhelmed with the what was happening, but I was warm and comfy and in control. The time was now 9pm. When things threatened to become too much, I would close my eyes and experience some incredible CEVs, which also allowed me to access my brain and control my trip. I'd knock, go in and call for order in the colourful world of patterns. I'd find myself at a reception desk and talk to the person in control, telling him I wanted some more luxury in the trip. "OK, we'll give you some more luxury" and pink (the luxury colour) would begin to seep into the colours I was seeing, and into my brain, so I could open my eyes and know I was going to experience pleasurable feelings. Occasionally there would be coloured spikes that shot across my brain which I wasn't too keen on - I tended to open my eyes when this happened.

I had been attempting to keep a diary, but I'd found it a bit difficult to write anything. One of the few quotes I found the next day said "If you want to be where you are, then it doesn't get any better than that, trip wise." Very profound, I'm sure!

It was now dark, and I staggered outside to look at the lights of boats on the horizon. Blue flashes appeared in the dark wherever I looked, which was a bit disconcerting. In the end it got a bit cold, so I came in and finished the trip looking at a book with lots of pictures of beautiful scenery in, sleeping quite well once I eventually got to bed (with the help of some xanax).

That sounds amazing lol.

It was :) I was always pleased to be able to find the "reception desk" in the middle of the infinity of my brain so I could speak to the person in charge and regain some control.

Why has this been labelled "semi-experienced" and the title otherwise changed? This happened with my last trip report too, which had the title renamed "experienced"? I don't understand this.
