LSD and memory loss

So here's the deal- I already have slight cognitive impairment from taking a few extremely high doses of amphetamine. So I'm quitting that entirely- sometimes my mind just feels jumbled and I have a really hard time with comprehension and memory. I'm starting to exercise regularly, eat a lot healthier, sleep more, go back to school, etc. So I think it should improve.
I also have this plan to buy 25 blotters for myself to use (not all at once, over the course of many months.) I've tried acid once before, it was 2 tabs in 1 afternoon, but they were bunk and they didn't really work.
My question is- should I go ahead and buy the 25 tabs and still be able to use them? Does anyone know if LSD would cause further cognitive impairment, like with learning or memory?
I don't do any other drugs, or even smoke weed. I just want to be able to use acid but without furthering the damage to my cognitive function, so I am unsure whether or not to purchase the blotters.
I could also still purchase them, but not use them immediately. Wait weeks or months before trying them out to see if my cognitive function improves. That would also bring me to the question- how do I store the blotters?

LSD generally does not cause long term "cognitive impairment" except during the peak of the experience.

as far as i personally know, never having considerably impotent trip from the 8 times i have stored lsd [[i have stored it for at least 2 days and at most 3 weeks every time i've obtained the substance, excluding one occasion where i dosed immediately after receiving the medication.]]
i have stored the doses in both cardboard and foil, wrapping the hits loosely... i have placed these containers in the freezer as well as in a cabinet. because of the 9 times, 8 times being stored, there were only actually 5 distinguishably separate batches of the substance so this isn't scientific but i found that storing at room temperature is best for storing.

the stability of the molecule is very low so many people factor this in so far as deciding a storing action. because this isn't regulated, it's hard to say. read enough and you'll learn how different people who take lsd store just through their explanations specifically on the topic or on the molecule generally. there was a famous mayo jar in the late 60s that dosed quite a few people for years and it was kept in the refrigerator. this was likely first rate product and in turn very stable, pure, and so on so i s'pose this also depends on quality of lsd you receive.

i feel that lsd has not altered my memory in one way or another, goodly or badly, but i don't value my memory so much... but if you mean necessary short term memory, like the kind of shit you need to be a responsible, decision making adult you can or want to be or not to be, no lsd hasn't manipulated memory. it has made me feel like i remember more than i usually would "sober" but then i realize retrospectively from the trip, (like when i have a similar memory), that i have memories from early life all of the time randomly prompted by various activity and thought, so why would this be any different, and not more fantastic on hallucinogens? and it isn't, and it is more fantastic, if you're going to compare. know what i mean?

@sekio seems to have answered re: memory, but i thought a personal account would be nice. we agree basically which is nice, but continue educating yourself ... you can find book-references with articles specifically on this and relevant issues if you find information provided in these threads are insufficient for what information you're expecting. good luck, lsd is excellent and more.

I'm pretty sure temps lower than room are better for storing, I always store acid in a fridge (not freezer) packed in 3 or 4 bags and once I had it there for good 8 months. Was still very potent :D
