LSD after a harsh night out

Let's say that you went quite hard one night. For this example, let's say that your rolled.

You awake the next morning feeling not far from pretty shitty.

If you took acid, would you automatically feel way better due to acid's effects?
Or would how shitty you feel persist and affect the trip?

Anyone have any experience tripping hungover/strung out?

Shulgin likes him a bit of LSD right after MDMA (when he's crashing) so it's probably OK. It's really up to you though, I'd imagine if you have a case of suicide Tuesday's then it wouldn't go over that well.

If you rolled hard enough then there will be some tolerance. Many will disagree but that's speaking from experience. A friend of mine needed 3x times the dosage to get to the same place everyone else was, when she normally needs the same amount as me. (Might have to do with MDA being a metabolite or something)

This is a terrible idea. Do a little research and you'll find that set and setting are the most important factors that determine the quality of an LSD trip. If you go into the experience feeling like shit, you'll have a shitty trip.

Not to mention that spending a whole day with your heart rate up and appetite down will make you feel more hungover and strung out, not less.

I would recommend against tripping shortly after rolling. Taking acid while you are still hungover could be a bad experience.

No, definitely not! Set and setting are key as always. If you go into it feeling shit, this will be amplified.

This man knows what he's talking about.

Set and setting affect a trip, but that doesn't mean that a trip will turn out bad if you go into it feeling bad. Trips where you're using psychedelics to look at your problems from a new angle are some of the most rewarding.
