no worries man, you didn't come off that way it's all good. you were 100% correct though, my circle used to be all weird about the chemicals on them, I eventually made them understand that if they were sprayed with something it's mostly benign. it doesn't hurt to rinse them off though like fruit from the supermarket.
off topic, this thread has got me in the mood for some of those little dark chocolate chips of beauty and wonder, might pick some up for the weekend if the crew isn't at a festival.
