Low dose of acid?

I tried my first hit of acid yesterday on white blotter paper that was smaller than half of my pinky fingernail. I thought just this one hit would give me insane hallucinogens and visuals. I took it by placing it in my tongue for 15 minutes then spit it out (which I didn't know you were suposed to swallow it) the only thing I felt differently all day was I felt like a intelligent retard and I was watching myself in first person for a little if that makes sense. I feel like I was tripping all day just at a tiny dose. Is it possible that I was tripping at a beginning stage of LSD. Any thoughts?

I like taking LSD in low doses for a little energy/mood/thinking stimulation. I'm unsure what you mean by intelligent retard lol
