I have been taking pills for around 7 months now. Prescribed in the beginning and not so much now. Usually i take around 10mg of vicodin or 15mg of roxicodone a day. Very small doses, i know. The problem here is that i have been having some weird side effects and it would be a great help to hear from anyone if they had a similar condition or effect from taking these pills. I have been getting feelings of confusion and anxiety around an hour after oral administration. Some times i feel very faint and shaky and a loss of self being, like my body is moving but theirs no one controlling it. I dont know if anyones felt this and its scary to say that sometimes i also feel as if my brain is about to like tweak out or some shit and i should just dig myself a grave... I dont know if anyone can relate and with my luck, there probably wont. I did some reasearch and the only thing i could think of was my low blood pressure. My mom did a test on me and said i was normal though. Could it drop that much from a pill to make me have a fainting effect. thanks for the responses

mod edit: please use useful titles so people can search for these threads in the future, I'm going to start warning people for it, it is useless for BL and no one knows what drugs you are going to be mentioning in such a broad forum

I had something somewhat similar to this happen when I was taking a much stronger Pain Killer the wrong way (unprescribed way). It terrified me and I will never do it again. I'm guessing since your medication is much weaker that this is the reason why you aren't uhmm SCARED TO DEATH because of it. I would recommend doing your utmost to quit if you aren't prescribed it and you can do without it, because I almost guarantee that there is no easy fix for your problem.

Opiates can effect people in different ways. When I was younger, I tried Vicodin & Percs & would get faint spells, dizziness, & nauseated. It was awful & I stopped using for over 10 years. Now opiates dont bother me anymore, weird........

It is indeed an acquired taste for some people.

My question is, why keep taking a drug that gives you panic attacks and anxiety? I recommend that you stop taking opiates or at least reduce your dosage if these negative effects happen to you when you take opiates.

sometimes if i dose too high i get sketched out for a second because im not used to it...but it goes away...

I get anxious on opiates sometimes. Gotta just let go. I find that when I try to act straight is when I get the most anxious. When I just sit back and chill/nod, it's all gravy.

yes it happene dto me it was also the last time i touched opiates during thanksgivin brean i popped oxys and vicodin for three days straight i was nodding and felt like i was about to puke and pass out it was rlly scary my muscles were sore for like a weak u know that stomach feeling when u eat too much and u feel all the nausea and burp all the time makes u wanna puke thats why i stick to benzos

I changed the title..please please please guys make your titles more specific, not just "is this possible" or whatever, since the most effective way to search BL is through titles so it's better if they at least include drug names.

^Agreed.

It sounds like your dosages might still be a bit high. As long as you're able to chill out, you should be okay...that being said, a good dosage for somebody is the dosage they take and it makes them chilled out/pain free.

Good advice. Just let go. Don't get wound up trying to do things and having to get shit done all at once. It brings on anxiety when all your body wants to do is kick back and relax. Don't fight it! Let the sedation take over. I had a terrible experience spending my entire opiate experience trying to get everything whet yet I felt like I needed to just lay down and chill but I get all anxious because I had to work on stuff that I needed done. Started to panic and that never happens, usually I'm able to let it take over and feel groovy baby.
