Low Bloos Pressure Meds question

First of all, I take Propranolol for my anxiety, and I know it lowers blood pressure. Today my doctor also prescribed "Guanfacine" for my ADHD, and that also lowers blood pressure. I'm very hesitant to take the newer medication due to the fact of the blood pressure lowering.
My blood pressure normally is good, so I'm not sure if it is safe to take both at the same time.
Is it safe to take both? Or anyone have experience with these two meds?

My second question is about the "Guanfacine", I'm worried about the side effects because tomorrow I'm going out on a trip out of town and I do not want to have some bad side effect when I'm on the road. So my question is, are there any unsafe side effects lurking in this medication?

Thank you in advance!

I have had a bad experience with guanfacine. I was extremely tired all the time and did not help my ADHD. Have you tacked to your doctor about these concerns?

ya i have but she wants me to try it anyways EDIT: how long till it stats to help me with my ADHD? does it have to build up in my system first?

Another question, how long does it take for the drowsiness side effects to go away? Because all afternoon I feel like falling asleep. And how bad are the mood swings compared to strattera's? I know both have the side effect, but wasn't sure to what degree.

It has to build up first in your system a couple of weeks up to six and about a week or two for sleepiness to subside.

I would suggest since they both lower blood pressure to toke them at seperate times. If one made me tire I would maybe take it at bed time. If the side effects are bad talk to your dr right away.
