2 months now since I lost you
time really drags on.
I can't remember our last kiss
so I'll just have
to make it up in my head
I hope your happy with him,
really.
It was sudden, badly timed
and extremely painfull.
A textbook
break up.
you where always
a perfectionist.
I lost my girl, my first love
and my best friend to another.
I feel empty inside,
I lost my edge and I don't care.
Nothing really matters and
I'm always unhappy
but you know me
I can't complain.

i think was a really great display of emotion, and i hope you will have many more posts here.
just remember... happiness is only what you make of it. dont let tears of past memories control the direction your destiny takes.

i think poetry is always raw emotion, it's just that some choose to organize it in certain patterns.
i think it's fitting that love, one of the most pleasurable feelings in the world can also be the most painful.
a (very hard) lesson to learn is that life constantly changes and people continually walk in and out of the lives of others. remember that you don't need other people to be happy. when this period of sadness is over, you will still have the memory of the good times you guys shared.
