Lortab Question

I know this has already probably been covered but I searched the archives and couldn't find it.

I have 7.5/500 APAP Lortabs, what is APAP? Is it a form asprin? How damaging is it? And last, certainley not least, how much do I take to feel nice without getting hurt from the APAP?

APAP is tylenol

i think tylenol isn't as safe as claimed, but try telling that to the fda. i believe max recommended doseage of tylenol is 4g/day. try not to exceed that, and don't take any tylenol product regularly.

how much to take? i'd start out with about 15mg, and work up as needed.

i just took some lortab 10/500's about 25 minutes ago

im at 30mg hydrocodone, 1500mg acetimenophen/apap with very little opiate tolerance, and I feel pretty good. Bout to go smoke some, so im planning on being ripped.

ceryc is right about tylenol, more than 4 grams can be pretty harmful on the liver, but it's more something to be worried about as far as repetetive use. ive taken 10 5/500's before, thats 5 grams of apap all at once, and i was fine, but later my stomach hurt like a bitch

Dont fuck with the shit, i know alot of people whose lives pain pills ruined. First you will play around with the occasional Vicadin, or lortab, then will move up to Oxys then bangin the damn things, then you will be a full blown herion addict. Take my advice, throw the fuckers in the toilet. Take it from an experienced 28 yr old. Im not tellin you what to do, just giving you some of my wisdom.

i don't believe he asked to be lectured, some people can handle taking the occational opiod and not turn into a "full blown heroin addict", tell someone who cares.

I have used vicodin before but it has been a few years when I wasent concerned about hurting myself with the asprin.

I appreciate your concern "Advocate" ....but like you...I am 28 years old.. ..and done just about every drug under the sun...I was only looking for a responsible way to have a fun evening. Also looking for the right dosage to feel nice...if I didn't become addicted a few years ago...I highly doubt I will now.

Drugs don't ruin people's lives, people ruin their own lives with drugs.

Im sorry guys and girls. I wasnt tryin to lecture. Just hate opiates. Have strong feelings towards them. Im not an angel. Just tryin to steer people away from pain pills. And i do think drugs do ruin people cause its your decision to take the shit in the first place, but having a good time and wanting to have cause you to try the shit in the first place and then you want to do it more occasionally. Opiates can be dangerous is all im saying, just like anything else. Sorry to be a wet blanket. Just concerned, cause there are alot of younger peeps on here who dont know the dangers of pain meds, especially drinking on them and if you are wise enough to deal with partying then do what ever you want, i do. I just know that its a terror to see a 14 yr old hooked on oxys and withdrawling.
