This is the second time I've ever taken a benzodiazepine in my life. I have taken one clonazepam pill a couple months back, but it didn't do much since the dose was small. Either way, my point is that I have pretty much no tolerance to this stuff. Not sure if this is of significance, but I have no history of mental illness, and am not depressed. I was a little sleepy at the time of ingestion, although idk if that will affect anything.
I am 5'11", and weigh around 245 pounds with roughly a 23% bodyfat. I'm a bigger guy, so I typically have to take larger doses of recreational substances to achieve the desired effect. For instance, it took 30 mg, or six 5 mg oxycodone IR pills to give me a noticeable "opiate high"(euphoria, sedation, etc.) the first time I tried them. Prior to that I had never done opiates.
Doses: 2 mg sublingual; 1 mg sublingual 50 minutes later.
11:30 PM - took four 0.5 mg pills. I had dinner at around 8:30 PM, so there's probably still some food left in my stomach.
11:50 PM - my body feels like it's starting to heat up. Not to the point where it's become unpleasant, but it's similar to the feeling you get when you blush/flush. I'm starting to feel a lot sleepier all of a sudden. All of a sudden, I'm yawning frequently.
11:55 PM - I go to the kitchen, and begin to eat a whole Pomelo. I'm not sure if it acts similar to grapefruit juice in that it could potentiate certain drugs. Potentiation was not my intent, however. I just like Pomelos and think they taste awesome.
12:20 AM - I finish eating the Pomelo. Still not really feeling any "trippy" effects, I take two more of the 0.5 mg pills. At this point, I have consumed 3 mg. Throughout the process of eating my Pomelo, the only noticeable effects was a slight change in my perception of time. Time seemed to go by slightly faster than I normally experience it.
12:40 AM - I am beginning to feel a little bit of a sedation, not unlike the kind caused by a low dose (~10-15mg) of oxycodone. However, I am still fully aware of everything, and my mind is alert and running at full speed. My body feels sedated, but my mind is clear is the best I can describe this feeling. With oxycodone, my mind also gets sluggish.
1:00 AM - My motor coordination appears to have been affected slightly. It's nothing big, but my movements do seem to be somewhat more awkward than usual.
1:20 AM - starting to feel slightly lightheaded. Nothing intense, and it hasn't affected my walking around and doing stuff.
2:05 AM - My depth perception is slightly off, and my body feels sluggish. My mind is still amazingly sharp at this point. I'm starting to develop a slight headache as well. My inhibitions seem higher than usual - I was going to buy some stuff relevant to my hobbies and interests online, and I normally would've purchased the stuff already. Today, though, I went through the cart and took out a bunch of stuff I deemed unnecessary, and ultimately decided that I didn't really need any of the stuff I was gonna buy. That was pretty unexpected, and this behavior is atypical of how I shop when it comes to buying things I like.
2:30 AM - I decide I'm going to conk out. It's late, I'm tired, and this drug doesn't seem to be all that interesting. Good night folks.
11:40 AM - I wake up feeling incredibly refreshed. While my body is still somewhat groggy from waking up so suddenly, my mind is still very clear. I had a very good night's rest, and perhaps the Ativan had something to do with it. I cannot remember much about my dreams other than that they were very vivid and interesting.
Overall thoughts: This drug, while a benzo, might not be your best choice for tripping on. I feel like it does its intended job very well, but that it isn't really "super psychoactive" or anything like that. If I had to make an analogy, I'd say that it's like the codeine of the benzo world - it can get you high, but there are probably better alternatives.
