Hey,

I’m prescribed Loprazolam for treatment of RLS / basically because not much else is working and failing putting me on low dose methadone or the oxy/Naloxone combo (targinact) my GP isn’t sure what else to do whilst waiting for my appointment with movement disorder specialist in a couple of months.

also prescribe a bunch of clonazepam tabs for case of anxiety attacks when my methylphenidate is wearing off in evening.

I’m going to give the kpins a swerve as I don’t want to overdo it with the CNS depressant stuff.

The RLS is a real problem for me though. The thought of amputating my legs had crossed my mind from time to time at 4am in the morning when even after hot baths, a 20k run and either a DA or pregablin has been tried and I’m still pacing around, exhausted and desperate to sleep and driving my mrs insane.

At this point I have a mild tolerance to benzos. I say that on the basis of when I first used one (diazepam) back in 2016 when I injured my spine, 2mg had me off with the fairies.. now I would need about 20-30mg diazepam / 2-4mh kpin for muscle relaxation or anti anxiety appropriately. I want to avoid increasing this tolerance any further.. but this week has just really not been good and I feel like I’m a giant ball of rage and stress and just want to chill out and feel ok for a few hours.. maybe even catch some Zz’s. Wondering what a safe but effective dose of Loprazolam would be in this circumstance?
