Opioids (Lope) Threw out all my kratom 2 days ago... fuck

Are you still on the MS? Or did they take you off?

To answer your question, it depends. For me, when I was in withdrawal from Suboxone I found loperamide much better but I may have had a shitty source of kratom. I also much prefer longer acting to shorter acting opiates.

If I was to choose one to be on daily, I’d pick the kratom simply because it’s healthier like you said.

I am still on the MS Contin yes.

I just sometimes (all the time lately) find myself a few days short and I have to do something else.

I also have found the Lope to work best for morphine withdrawal.
Lope is a funny drug and somehow you can bridge morphine with it for a few days.
it will trick your body somehow.

I agree that if I had to pick something to be on daily out of lope or Kratom it would definitely be Kratom.
I get the MS Contin daily but for those few days I run out before refill time- Lope for the win.

Ah I gotchya, yea that’s probably your best net for now.

I’m gonna PM you here when I can about some other suggestions.

Won’t let me for some reason...

I’ll try again here later :)

Do you guys think Kratom works better than Lope?

I am always afraid to just rely on the Kratom alone.
it sure would be healthier and better for me if I knew Kratom alone could hold off withdrawal for me.
I am accustomed to 75 mg MS Contin a day.
I think it is. Kratom saved my ass when quitting opies ( oxy and tramadol). I take 2 teaspoons a day of green Maeng Da to start the day. Then some Red Bali to hit the hay. Just taper the MS Contin slowly of u want to quit. And continue with the kratom intake. U might have to increase the dose a bit tho if you want to come off the oxy.

I do. But then again..,
I am accustomed to 75 mg MS Contin a day.
Never tried it with ms @ 75mg daily ... for I would guess many years?
I would try it. Get some good shit and dose it. I would put money on the chances that it works... but not sure for how long...

Are you saying kratom has any form of withdrawl? I really enjoyed a strong liquid extract one of these last days and kinda yearn for more. What dosages are you people using? amounts of leaf? Hmm, i should grow some myself...

I am on the MS Contin for the rest of my life unfortunately.
I got injured. Bad.
I do not know how to live with this constant pain.
i cannot even dress myself without the morphine. So....I am not trying to quit.

I just need the best option for those months when I freak out and use extra morphine and then run myself short on my prescription for a few days.

The best option without raising my tolerance.
I NEED the pain control.

I have some Kratom now but I am hesitant to rely on it for those few days without the MS Contin.

Are you saying kratom has any form of withdrawl?
It does if one is at mid to high doses. ~20-30g daily for a couplahtree weeks or more.
Been using it for over two years and dropped it a couple times for a couple months at a time and only notice that hell is real at every turn. JK. I missed it but didnt feel the urge to get more.
I do get more eventually and my chronic pains melt away and I am a happy camper... not fishin' buddy.
First time I stopped kratom the reason was I believed it was gonna soon get scheduled and maybe I can get ahead of the curve and get off befor I have to get off, know what i mean? choice instead of forced. Noticed the pains coming back and oxys werent covering the pains. Had to get back on alp and opies just to get to work... which I detest as there is a better way... it is kratom for me.
Peace, love
J

I think lope works better to get through withdrawals and then stop without switching addictions to a new substance, better than kratom I mean, because lope lasts so long, you can take it once every 36-48 hours, so after like 4 or 5 times, you'll be through acute withdrawal and you can stop. Whereas with kratom you'll have to dose multiple times a day the whole time and will likely be addicted to kratom by the end of it.

But yeah daily kratom use will produce withdrawals, for sure. I was addicted to kratom for 6 years, by the end of that I had to dose every 5 hours around the click, I'd wake up in the middle of the night in withdrawal and have to dose to finish sleeping. It has worse RLS than any other opioid for me, but the rest of the symptoms are not quite as bad. But it was awful.

Wow ok. Certain substances do affect people differentially. When I came off of oxy and tramadol, I dosed kratom ( 2 tablespoons) of red bali twice a day for withdrawal (acute) and totally wiped out symptoms. I lowered my dose gradually each day and the withdrawals didnt return nearly as bad. Until I was basically over it. Now I use kratom for pain and energy as needed and just overall like the feeling it gives me. Now lope on the other hand? Nothing. Im not too keen on taking a large amount because of the cardiac Issues it can have. Interesting....

The RLS and depression was really the worst part of kratom withdrawal, I would liken it more to a more mild akathisia than RLS. There weren't really any other physical symptoms, not to say i'm all the way through it but i'm definitely over the worst of it.

Kratom is a decent alternative for those in pain, looking to get off opiates, or just bridging the gap between scripts. As for it's use as a recreational drug, it is lower than mediocre.

Help!

I am going to be out of Subutex soon.
I just got changed over to Subutex from morphine.
I went back to my doctor after the 7 days on Suboxone and told her I was needing 16mg every 8 hours and she said “oh great!”
But, she wrote my prescription for 3 pills a day and I am going to be out of them like a week early.
I am having to use Subutex for chronic pain because of laws changing!
The receptionist lady is telling me “well, you might have to go to the hospital and do inpatient.”
I am not doing that! I cannot afford it for one thing.

I need to know if I can use Loperamide for suboxone withdrawal now!
And when would I start it so as not to go into precipitated withdrawal?
Please help.
Please tell me I can use lope for sub withdrawal.
how bad is sub withdrawal in comparison to morphine?

I was under the impression that they just wait and see where you fall.
I have been able to cut it down to 3 pills a day now but I only have a few Subutex pills left.

Someone help!

Unfortunately my experience doesn’t match well with yours in the fact that I was coming off 4mg at the time not 32. I honestly don’t know if the loperamide will cover you. All I can say is that when I was switching back and forth between Suboxone and loperamide/kratom I never went into precipitated WD. Then again I’ve never gone into PWD at any point.

Really wish I could be more help. :( If I was you I’d still go grab some loperamide cuz partially covering those receptors is better than nothing. Pretty much, if you got access. Kratom, loperamide and poppy seeds are the quickest easiest opiates to reach for in times like these

Thank you @G_Chem

Looks like I am the only one ever who has had this problem. ☹️
Seems like it would be a common problem.

I see my doctor on Monday and I am hoping she will help me somehow.
Otherwise, I am so fucked.
Yeah, I have the Lope on hand.
I just really do not want to go back to that.

I told my doctor that it was taking that much to cover me and manage my chronic pain.
She said great job! But then wrote the prescription out for 3 a day, I have been needing 4-5 a day.
I was under the impression that you just kinda used what you needed, do the best you can and see where you land.
I have been able to get the dosage down some. I am still needing 4 a day, but I cut it down from 5.
Thought I was doing good.
They told me you can take 24-32 mg , twice daily.

I am fucked.
Fucked worse than if they would have just left me the fuck alone on my MS Contin!
Fucked at Christmas, yet again.

It just seems to be that they just DO NOT HEAR anymore when trying to cry for help when suffering. 🙁💔

It's as if they don't even hear what is being said !!!!

I am so sorry. I really am. Sincerely though. 💗

You are still going to have pain no matter what. They mind as well help you. And you do have legitimate medical documentation.

Yup. They do not listen or fucking care.
The Medical System just decided no pain medication for anyone now.
Cut off chronic pain patients abruptly.
Cut me off Morphine abruptly.

Gave me the government approved suboxone- Subutex.
Even though it says “Do not give to patients with head injury” and I have traumatic brain injury.

Fuck.
