Ok so the last time i got fucked on ecstasy it was good. But i felt no love and not much happiness. I felt euphoric & content mostly. Ofcourse it might of not been MDMA, i think possibly MDA. My friends were loved up anyway.
My question is, has my weekend abuse of Meth ruined the magic for my ecstasy experiences?

Quite possibly (probably)..

A really long break from serotonergic drugs is your best bet at feeling it..

this one time i took a 5.5 month breake after heavy (and i mean heavy) use, and next time i did it it was like my first time. One single bean, 3-4h of intense happiness, warmness and empaty. Couldnt believe it was lasting so long just after a nearly 6 month break. Must say that during that period I wasnt taking ANYTHING else except for alcohol and ocasionally xanax.

but xtc isn't just about tolerance. i'd say that 50% of the experience is due to the atmosphere where you it, and most importantly, being in a complete new situation, doing things you never done before. The "new experience" factor is immensely important. Tolerance will pretty much only set how long do you roll, and how bad the side effects are. xtc isn't as fun when you have expectations.

anyway, those were my 2c

They're definitely cross-tolerant to significant proportions. Methamphetamine (ab)use will raise MDxx tolerance.

Moving this to Ecstasy Discussion.

BDD -> ED

thanks Chromophobia

take rest and the love will return. the fact you are asking this question suggests to me that you are having second thoughts about your usage/abuseage, now is the time to take rest. shit will still be there in the future to pick up again if you want. :)

He's asking if methamphetamine abuse can affect MDxx tolerance. How exactly is that impossible to answer?

Well, we know that MDMA and meth are cross-tolerant in general, but this:

My question is, has my weekend abuse of Meth ruined the magic for my ecstasy experiences?

Is really difficult to answer with the information given.

I completely agree with all of this!

Methamphetamine wont necessarily end the "magic" but it can cause enough a depletion of serotonin to keep you from getting a good roll. Wait about two months and try again.

I would say it is impossible for us to answer, simply based on the fact that you didn't test your product and we have no idea what you took.

I think this is actually a very good answer. The OP made it clear they really had no idea what they had consumed.

Apart from that everyone is different, there is no way for us to know how drugs are definitely going to affect another person.

While I agree with this you also have to note that there is a presence for harm reduction as in terms for cross tolerance between methamphetamine and MDMA, in which both being serotonin and dopamine antagonists. While also, methamphetamine most possibly binding to 5-HT3 receptors mainly, and MDMA binding to 5HT2 receptors, mainly. Regardless, both being major 5HT antagonists still depleting serotonin to lower levels, in which there would MOST definitely be a cross tolerance between the two, furthermore answering the OP's question as to whether or not methamphetamine will be a debating factor in cross tolerance between the two substances and their "loss of magic".

But, as someone has stated before you have not lost the magic permanent I'd assume, I guess more simplistically put your tolerance should have increased due to your prior amphetamine use, which is kind of an obvious answer not to be a dick or anything.
