Project64 (N64 emulator)
Ocarina of Time Rom
Controller drivers should install automatically when you plug it in (I suggest an Xbox 360 controller). Install Project64 into your Program files. Once the controller is connected, run the .exe file. Select options > settings > plugins, and make sure that: (1) video is "Jabo's Direct3D8 1.6", (2) audio is "Jabo's DirectSound 1.6", and (3) input is "Jabo's DirectInput7 1.6", click OK. Select options > Configure controller plugin... make sure your gamepad is selected under "game device" and that the "controller is plugged in" box is checked, then set up all of your controls (use the right stick for the "c" buttons). The sound plugin should be fine (though you can configure it to adjust the volume). Finally the video plugin should be set up depending on your display, mine looks like this: windowed res = 1024x768; full screen res = 1440x900; full screen sync = triple buffer vsync; anisotropic filtering = 16x; super2xsal textures = checked.
Finally, to run the game, simply select file > open rom and double-click the Ocarina of Time rom.

zeroN64 (Project64 port for Intel OS X)
CXZ Engines (possibly required to run zeroN64*)
Xbox 360 Controller Driver (install this if you have a wired 360 controller or a wireless controller and USB adapter)
Ocarina of Time Rom
Once you have the files: (1) install the 360 controller driver (if you plan to), (2) install the CXZ engines (* You may be able to run zeroN64 without installing the CXZ engines, certainly wouldn't hurt to try), (3) drop the zeroN64.app into your applications folder (it's come to my attention that you'll need to install 7zip to unzip the file), (4) right (or cntrl) click the .app file and select "Show Package Contents," (5) drop the Ocarina of Time rom in the "Games" folder, and (6) double click "Window Mode Selector" and select "win mode."
Now, make sure your controller is connected, then start the zeroN64 app.
Select options > settings > plugins, and make sure that: (1) video is "Jabo's Direct3D8 1.6", (2) audio is "Jabo's DirectSound 1.6", and (3) input is "N-Rage's Direct-Input8 V2 1.80a", click OK. Select options > Configure controller plugin... make sure your gamepad is selected under the "devices" tab, then set everything up under the "controls" tab (use the right stick for the "c" buttons).
Finally, to run the game, double click Ocarina of Time on the games list.
If the program won't run you may have to download and install Wine. Don't worry about copying WineBottler into your applications, all you need is Wine.
