As Title Reads, anyone who knows about this chem or can link me to the correct places to get this information would help me out alot thanks:)

I believe this chemical (it is 2,5-dimethoxyphenethylamine right?) is destroyed rapidly by MAOI upon ingestion, so unless combined with a reversible MAOI (probably on balance not recommended), probably won't be particularly psychoactive.

On the other hand, Phenethylamines (including 2C Phenethylamines) are very stable, and generally only broken down in circumstances that involve storing the chemical where it can be altered by interaction with another chemical, thereby breaking the molecule down. Standard storage protocol of cool dry place probably applies if your feeling cautious though.

Cheers for the reply, yes that is the correct chem. i have been told that it if stored over 4degree's for 1-2months it will go a yellowish colour and become unstable. reason i have asked this question here is i found that hard to believe considering how durable 2cb and the likes are. anyone else had experience handlering this chem?

Just out of interest why do you want to know? The doses needed are so high to achieve effects...

The 2C-H freebase has a tendency to react with CO2 in the air so it should be kept tightly sealed if stored for extended periods. The HCl salt should be stable for ages, but then it might be hygroscopic

That's the freebase, 2C-B freebase will also yellow over time. Store them as the hydrochlorides and there's no problem.

2C-H is very stable w/regards to storage, you don't have to worry about storage unless you're doing an actively bad job of storing it.

IIRC, 2C-X freebases will form the carbonate salt, but there wasn't any further problem with that.

The OP might be using this as a synthetic intermediate.

I wonder what the break down product of the freebase would be for 2C-B or 2C-H? Anybody run a TLC/GCMS on their degraded product or anything?
