I want something that gives a nice mood boost/horniess/motivation but specifically for dopamine/or stimulant in nature.
Kanna I tried once and was really nice in terms of it's strength for a herb but I really don't like pure serotonin action. It feels so impotent and emasculating.
In general now I find synthetic drugs TOO powerful and conversely I find herbs too weak, so weak they do nothing of note.
So I want something in the range of kanna which definitely does something albeit gentle but very noticeable and as I said dopamine is my transmitter of choice- maybe noreephedrine w/e as well but never been able to try that in isolation to say (only form speed etc which I know are a combo of nore and dopa)- but stimulanty is what I want. Caffeine I find grotesque to the point of it feeling like mild torture to even drink a cup due to the extreme anxiety it produces.
Im skeptical such a thing exists for dopamine having been disappointed time and time again by bunk herbs altho having tried kanna it gave me another wind of motivation knowing that such a potent herb exists I thought maybe another one exists to suit my requirements.
So far my research has been of the characteristically disappointing nature I'd come to expect form herbs
. I tried catuaba bark- tiny little feeling but so minute it was indistinguishable form my background mood- tried loading up the doses as well up to 10grams+ and no change. Tried ridiola rosea today- even worse- nothing.
Reading up on phenythalAMINE sounded promising in its effect but seemed to risky in terms of getting it to work and it's side effects.
Yohimbe, from reading, seemed like it does something from reports but again seems too risky in terms of overdosing/steep dose/response curve. I want something safe and easy that I can take with no worries of the consequences.
Other things like phenibut and kratom sounded good in effect profile but were a nono in terms of addiction potential and withdrawals.
I understand however that anything that would have a notable dopamine boost would provide addiction potential but I am confident that wouldnt be such an issue with something mildish, ie wellbutrim isn't known for its addiction potential while still being a DARI.
I don't really buy the whole 'you just have to get the right strain/supplier/w/e. this Ive found to just be another red herring of frustration. In my experience, when things that are definitely active, even if its a bad supplier or whatever/bad strain there's still SOMETHING there enough for you to feel its worth further investigation. Ie on a bad batch you'd feel enough to want to try another batch. Not so with most herbs I try.
So can anyone think of anything which might fit the bill?
