^^great advice. For people with painful ailments, it is of the utmost importance that the teacher knows what they are doing and that the student takes care to not push themselves to far.
From my recollection, not specifically. However, I have seen yoga completely heal a variety of serious injuries and cure many ailments of both the mind and body. I see no reason as to why scoliosis would be an exception. In contrast, I assume that scoliosis is a perfect fit for yoga.
Which form of yoga then, if you don't mind me asking, would you recommend? or is it a case of having to try all the styles. There are quite a few traditional plus now am noticing modern fusions making the novices choice very difficult.
Scoliosis: If you are overweight well you are not helping your back any for sure! The pressure on lower spine exerted by an enlarged gut is quite significant.
I once went to an health food shop and got a natural pain relief for headaches and it did work for a while. You could consult a recommended naturopath about that. I dont think it costs to speak to one does it? never used to.
Good Luck
