First let me give a brief life story as deemed relevant.
I'm 27yo but will be 28 early June. I've been a heavy drug user since 2006.
I decided to get 100% clean a few months ago but my tolerances were very high so I've been bed ridden for nearly 2 months
I have luckily suffered no health issues other than ruining veins. No diseased and my bloodwork is one week old.
Everything is normal. I am mentally very strong but I have absolutely no energy. I force myself to take walks and I eat as healthy as I can.
Currently I weigh somewhere between 170 and 180. I am 6'0" I have naturally been built around 190 to 200.
I already have low fat count and I still have physical strength but visually not so much.

My question is how long should I wait to begin retraining my body.
I've never used steroids and am hesitant to try them but I'm also very impatient also I believe that my drug use stems from my opinion of my appearance.
I don't know what I should do.

Sounds like you have decent potential. So get back into training hard and eating well ASAP. Training has been shown repeatedly to help fix mental health and lethargy issues, plus most people get quite a nice natural buzz from working out.

I would not advise you use steroids when you can make so much progress without them; don't supplant one drug with another, and definitely don't rely on them for a transient self-esteem boost. Especially as AAS come with significant potential health risks. In some years time, if you're still wanting to push your limits, then maybe start considering and researching at that point.

Thank you for the advice. Between this thread and the one in the introduction area it seems as if everyone advises against me using steroids and honestly that's what I wanted to hear. As long as I can get my diet plan figured out I have no problem building muscle however I have never been able to get visible abs and I think it's because of my diet. I don't remember what my plan was last time it has been near 7 years since I worked out besides my job which is basically a 12hr workout

Good to hear it mate. Steroids aren't like typical recreational drugs in that you can just pop a few and forget about it. They require a lot of planning and consideration, and a gym-orientated lifestyle that's going to facilitate their use effectively.

Get your diet sorted as a priority - it's where the cut look will come from. No amount of steroids will give you abs, unfortunately.

Best of luck!
