I would simply tell myself to continue on that path, make those mistakes in order to learn and grow.

Exactly. Even though my life has been filled with a lot of fucked up situations, I would not change a thing because they made me who I am today. I am also very happy with where I am right now, too. Great girlfriend, good job, a place to live, and family that is starting to trust me again. What more can a guy ask for? Except maybe a little bit more money (;

id just tell myself one thing: Life doesnt give us what we want but it always gives us what we need.

I think that simple statement really makes all the events of my life come full circle in perspective of how I handled them and how I should have reacted.
