Hi there everyone, I visited Bluelight often in my college years to check the safety of various things. I popped in today to check on something and it sort of hit me I never actually made an account here, so after spending some time browsing the forum I figured I'd make an account and join the community that helped me out so much back then. So I guess I'll stick around awhile this time and see if maybe my experiences can help others, and generally hang out. All that said, I guess I'm just here to say hello, and thank all the fine people who have posted here to help others over the years!

Always good to hear that Bluelight has help people out, @SingleMalt. I'm just curious - what in particular did you find helpful? What drug safety etc?

I think i knew about Bluelight in high school, erowid i frequented too, but wasn't until after college that i posed a specific question. And i got sucked in!

Yeah, right? I got roped in and shanghaied. Wouldn't have it any other way and barely resisted. haha Maybe wouldn't be here or as healthy (body/mind etc) if not for BL. Real talk. Word. What-have you.
Bigger draw than the illuminati. No offense but BL is the shit, IMO.

Thank you all for the welcome, I'm happy to be here. As far as Bluelight helping me out @madness00 I went through a very experimental time in college, pretty much all through it I tried various things, primarily psychedelics, benzo's, the odd pain killer, and plenty of alcohol layered on top of all of it, I would often check here to determine the risks that came with that sort of thing, and found it much more helpful than anywhere else for providing straight answers, backed up by experience. I never had any need to post, as my questions would always have been asked and answered by others already. I can remember my first time here was looking for advice to guide me through a rather rough LSD trip.

As for my drug of choice @PtahTek I'd say my favorite overall was LSD, I did it routinely in my younger years. These days, I drink on the weekends, and sometimes I take a painkiller for back pain, or a benzo for stressful work days, both prescribed. For work reasons, I don't do much else these days.

Yeah, we understand people are going to use, and unlike places like Quora, most of us aren't going to play parent and tell you what to do. More like having a conversation you'd have with a good friend about things you don't want to ask people in real life.

But you knew this, i think.
