Longtime friend of opiates but need a break and a reset since they haven't been too friendly in return lately; unfortunately I also need to maintain intense productivity in the near future, so cold turkey is out of the question. Hoping to find some alternatives to chucking my career over at the kratom for wd thread :\

Hey buddy welcome to bluelight I finally decided to join after also lurking for every question I had.

If I were to go through withdrawal pain again and had to stay productive I would for sure find some subs to ween off of and to get rid of the little bit of withdrawal I had coming off of sub I took Immodium which worked wonders good luch with everything.

Welcome man!

If you need a hand with anything, PM either myself or another Moderator :)

Thanks y'all. I have gotten some great info here before, definitely, and made some safer and saner choices because of it - esp. since I am the only person I know with the habits I have, so it's an immense relief just to not feel so ... closeted? among all the suits and soccer moms I am around all the time!

Hey welcome, I'm new to posting here myself, but if you ever want to chat about opiates and their "wonderful" WD symptoms feel free to find me in the Other section haha.

Hi Blueheaven..I can understand what you mean about being alone with our habbits. None of my friends are like me. I hid my addiction from my man for 12 months!
So now i dont have any friends at all. I lost them all, or distanced myself purposley.
Ive stood at my daughters school and thought " I bet im the only junky here!" Addiction dont discriminate. It gets the rich, poor, happy, sad, pollititions, nurses, teachers, all walks of life.
We are not alone....
