So, my drug history is a long one. I started drinking alcohol and smoking weed heavily at the age of 12. At 16, I discovered my new love... cocaine. I soon moved from the powdered form to the rock form. During this time, I also experimented with many other drugs, such as LSD, mushrooms, and snorting heroin. The coke habit led to my life being completely ruined... broke all the time... hitting licks all day to support my habit... and winding up in jail about once per month over something. I left my hometown and moved away hoping to start a new drug-free life, though I always intended on smoking weed and drinking occasionally. I moved out to LA, but instead of lessening my drug use, I simply moved on to different drugs. I had a bout with crystal meth. I also experimented and loved the effects of ecstacy. However, the most important drug I was introduced to in LA was opiates... mainly 80 mg oxys from Tijuana. When I left LA, I moved to Colorado. Here I continued to smoke bud on a daily basis (thank god for medicinal marijuana and the new legislation just passed legalizing recreational use). I also occasionally still used coke, meth, and ecstacy. However, the main drug problem that followed me was my addiction to opiates. I started with Vicodin and Percocet. Eventually, I discovered tramadol. During my tramadol years, I actually got a lot accomplished. I went back to college, and I'm a semester away from graduating with a 4.0 GPA in accounting and finance from a reputable 4-year state university. However, everything went down hill once I discovered the IR 30 mg oxycodone pills. I pop/snort/smoke anywhere from 10-20 per day. This devastated my family and forced me to quit school (temporarily I hope since I am one semester away after all). Anyway, just figured I'd say hi and let you all know who I am. :)

Oh and one other thing... throughout my life, i have suffered with insomnia. This led to me self-medicating using Xanax. Now, Xanax gets me to sleep every night and does wonders, but I must admit, I suffer through a Xanax addiction in addition to my oxy addiction. I also enjoy using prescription stimulants such as adderall, ritalin, provigil, and nuvigil.

Hey Psyko0815 welcome. I too am an opiate addict mainly heroin which I have managed to kick a few times but always miss and go back. Xanax addiction though scares the crap out of me, I went through seizures one time from coming off it too quickly so if you do stop do it gradually.
