Hello. I'm a 28 year old male in the midwestern part of the USA. I'm an EMS professional and a pharmacy tech in a hospital, so I either currently have or once had access to drugs (and antidotes) and drug knowledge that most people would only dream about. Like fentanyl with a known dose concentration (4.2 mL x 50mcg/mL, for example) ;-)

I've got a history list that's incredibly long, including:

Pharmaceutical-grade IV fentanyl (taken buccally)
Codeine
Morphine
Hydrocodone
Oxycodone
Tramadol
Buprenorpine (without naloxone)
Nalbuphine
Carisoprodol
Meprobamate
Methylphenidate (currently on this)
DXM
Phenobarbital
Butalbital
Alprazolam
Clonazepam
Diazepam
Lorazepam
Midazolam
Triazolam
Temazepam
Zolpidem (currently on this)
Zaleplon
Eszopiclone
Caffeine (like a freaking bunch of it, enough to actually get high)
Good-ol' Mary Jane
And last but not least, propofol.

I have access to naloxone, flumazenil, and a bag-valve mask I can have someone use if I over do it. I've got some incredible trip reports and funny stories to share, plus all kinds of knowledge. Now for my soapbox (all stuff you should all know):

Trip sitters (especially ones who can "bag" you and/or intubate you) and antidotes are a must when you deal with heavy hitters like fentanyl and propofol. Know your limits. Don't do poly-pharmacy. Don't drive high. Harm reduction, my friends. Don't become one of my patients. Please. I hate it when people die on me and I know my brothers and sisters in EMS do too (even if we have a history of substance use ourselves), so please be smart and don't become a patient.

Unit 552 out.

Welcome to Bluelight. Amazing post. Your knowledge will go far here. You have a lot of knowledge that can help a lot of people.

Great post! Apart from the first and last items, I share your experience list but would also add diacetyl morpine and Cocaine! Had 49 years to collect the list, nowadays it is very short!

Emergency personnel like you brought me back from the dead, and I'm forever greatfull. Keep up the good work!

My brother bought me back from the dead because i was clever enough to have a loaded syringe with a dose of Naloxone in it in my cupboard. This was 24 years ago....he just jabbed me in my leg, it was enough to wake me up. But I also woke up a couple of times in Emergency Personel trailers set-up in the worst parts of town in Rome....always Naloxone, a great life saver. The work of these people is invaluable, they don't get paid lots, most do it because they have had a loss, or because they feel bad for poor addicts forced to do street drugs in areas of town run by dodgy dealers that continually change the cut, amount and purity of the doses.

Welcome! Glad to have another EMS person here! Im a Firefighter/Paramedic as well! How did you get high off of propofol? LOL That's what they use for sedation for anesthesia. Didnt realize there was any recreational value in that lolsss
