Long time Bluelighter, first hello

Hello all!
Haven't been here in a long time. Just wanted to stop in and say hi. Wondering how the camaraderie is now a days. I've always respected so many people back in the day, but never let them know. Think it's time to start complimenting
Me? My drugs? Well.. I go to a methadone clinic because of my heroin addiction. Still do boy. Also do girl, and love my Xanax. This new years I'm going to give it another try on getting straight. Keeping the methadone, but I need to get my life straight.
I live in Detroit. I'm a mom to two and grandma to two. I'm in love with my soul mate, who I adore, but argue with all the time (guess that's how we show each other we care). Looking to make a friend or two.
Please introduce yourself... Tell me a little about you. Where you from? What do you do (drug wise, and other)? What struggles do you have? Any advice?

I've a long history with methadone and heroin but am now six years clean(ish).

I'm currently struggling with alcohol, but for all it's downsides, its the only addiction I can remain functional on

I also argue with my mrs constantly, but somehow we still love each other.

I think you will feel at home here...

I can't speak for 2009, but the camaraderie here is at a seemingly all time high since i joined (2018. You'll always find fuckery online but it's the great community most of us stay for.

About me? I don't like heroin - makes me throw up. The girl is great though. At my core im a pot head though.

As for advice, just remember what in your life you live for. Because drugs can take it all away. And that would suck.

Howdy names a Ptah... pleased to meet ya. And welcome to BL... at long last? Not sure how to respond to this intro atm as it is not the normal format ( ) as you are indeed bluelighter but it does not quite compute. overthinking
I'm on some damn good weed right now and some kratom. Don't get out too much anymore but can tell the time is nigh. I like opiates and benzos but need to aquire in small quantities as I like to numb up and know this is not optimal at this time in my life... maybe later. idk
Thanks for sharing and hope it aint 11 years before we hear from you again. If so, you be careful and if ya stay a while, sees ya.
