I don't know if any of you saw my post a year or two years ago about being desperate enough to drink windshield washer fluid (methanol, ethylene glycol) and thankfully I survived after being taken to hospital. I consumed 3 500ml bottles from Saturday to Wednesday.

I got my blood report and the doctor said I had 2900mg/L of methanol in my blood but more concerning was that my blood pH was 7.2 which falls outside the acceptable range of 7.35 to 7.45 and that I may have long term cardiovascular and renal damage.

Damn...methanol is no joke

Those analysis are from 2019 right? How are you now? You're still young so there's a chance your body will be able to heal itself, at least partly.

One Case of fairly mild Acidosis is not nearly as concerning as the Methanol Toxicity. I'm a type 1 diabetic and have been in the hospital for more sever acidosis than that several times throughout my life. While acidosis is no joke, I would be way more worried about the methanol. Source- I'm a pre med Major almost done with medical prerequisites and a type 1 diabetic.
