You know I think it has to do with just the act of smoking it and it effecting your lungs. From the couple of time I have free based coked I dont think it was that pleasant on the lungs. But when you are going that fast who gives a fuck, right?
 
What a trip. I know a dude who sounds EXACTLY like the one in the first clip. I would assume that the harsh chemicals added during cooking can cause damage to the nose, throat, mouth, lungs, etc.
