Is the most Efficient way to Perserve Cured Cannabis by putting it in your Freezer like any other Vegetable?

I do it like this and have noticed no negative side effects. If anything, the weed seems to get stronger.
Longest time I kept it was just over a year. Perfect smoke.

Depends on what you mean by long term. Store in jars if up to say 18 months.

Storing in a vacuum sealed container is a better option than freezing it if you don't mind it getting a bit squashed. If you can get a hard walled container with a vacuum so it doesn't squish your bud then that would be even better.

Freezing does work but you need to allow it to defrost before opening the container it is stored in. I would only do it as a last resort.

I actually made a really cool find.

Food saver vacuum canisters - better than vacuum bags because it doesn't crush your weed as all the air is sucked out:

And a thread on grasscity: http://forum.grasscity.com/stash-jar/565446-great-storage-method-buds-bubblegum-pics-attached.html

There's a glass vacuum product out there, too, called Bud Vac.

Okay well if I were to get bigger amounts I will Vacumn Seal it but right now I just got less than an Ounce for Personal use. I got it in one of those Double-Seal Ziplock Glad Brand Name Freezer Safe bags.... Since I will be opening it up and grabbing a bit out to Smoke all the time everyday I am not going to Vacumn Seal it for obvious reasons. I assume Freezing it would be next best option unless someone else has anything VALUABLE I might just not already know worth mentioning.

Storing in plastic ziplock bags is a very bad idea because they attract trichomes electrostatically. The environment inside is just not good enough for ideal storage.

Unless you are going to store bud for many years glass jars with rubber seals (e.g. Kilner and Le Parfait) are ideal. The bud continues to cure, improving taste and smell. I don't smoke bud until it has been curing for at least 9 months. Of course to avoid going without for extended lengths of time I need to procure/grow bud perpetually.

There's a big difference between bud cured for just a month and bud cured for a whole year.

I have to admit I have frozen bud stored outdoors (frosts outside) and it was fine. It's not something I would recommend though. If you are freezing bud it's the frequent freeze-thaw you want to try to avoid.
