Lonely.. but not alone?

Have you ever wondered
if you would be less lonely
if you were totally alone?
So many wonderful people everywhere
Friends, family, ones close to my heart
But still I feel so isolated and alone
Because nobody truly understands
Criticism seeps in from all around
And exudes from within
Mixed emotions bubble
Frustration wells from my depths
I see the uncertain path before me
I want to stray from this chosen path
Go a longer journey
Alone
And hide in a new environment
From everybody
From myself
I’m scared to say what I mean
Because people say I don’t mean what I say
My actions are misinterpreted
My intentions misread
I want to run
But it is against all I believe
Surely then I will be deserting the world which I feel has deserted me?
My ideals hold me back
I could leave right now.. be alone from my loneliness..
But what is the point?
From the mirror I will never be free.

"I dont wanna be lonely, i just want to be alone"....i LOVE this quote, it seems to relate completely to how you are feeling too.
We want our own solitude yet we want people around us at times aswell.
